Good AC a bit expensive and some minor issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought The AC a couple weeks ago based on good ratings. It's a bit expensive for a 6000 btu. The appearance looks better than most ACs and not very noisy as some review complained.
However The fan seems not blow out air strongly. (on auto speed ) The control panel and remote control not designed reasonablely.
The lights on control panel are unnecessary so tiny barely can see and not in proportion of AC unit. The display only shows The set temperature not room temperature. This doesn't make sense because you only need to see when you set or adjust desired temperature. It's more useful to show actual room temperature change not a fixed number all time .
This also relates to another problem. The AC doesn't cool to set temperature. Example, I set 80 degree but AC never reach that point. The remote control 6 feet away shows 82, and at other end of room thermometer shows 84 and constantly maintain that degree. Since AC display not show actual temperature I don't know what's going on.

I have another AC ten years old still in use. The AC display shows actual temperature. If I set 80 degree, IT will cool to that point and maintain. The AC display and thermometer at other end of room both show exact same 80 degree. That suppose The way AC work.
On this remote control, it's quite opposite. It only show room temperature. How do you set or adjust desired temperature if you can't see The number? Timer too. You use IT because you not near AC and can't see display ! Doesn't make sense for other buttons too. There is NO lights nor indicator on display of current status. When you press any button you don't even know it's turning on or off except AC power on or off for sure.
Please make The remote control display show the number when set temperature or timer. Have indicator of each button status so become useful.
Another thing not clear, what's The function of remote sensor ? No explain in menu. I only start to use this AC, don't know how well IT work down The road. Time will tell.

Perfect for extreme hot weather keep me cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how it’s remote comes with a thermostat helps know what the room temperature and how it not bulky and cools room nicely after I was pleased with it I just ordered a second one for my kids room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it's small, light, and easy to install -- plus it cools great. do your homework, Frigidaire AC units consistently score well on buyer reviews for good reason. they are well made and work very well. this unit is also very energy efficient. yes there may be lots of AC units to pick from out there, but your best bet is to buy Frigidaire. I've bought other brands, and they simply are not as good.
