Good fast cooling down speed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our last a/c unit ran out of coolant. It was easier and about the same price to buy a new a/c unit. This time we went a little bigger to also cool down our bathroom. Great idea! I like to put the unit on Brrrrr!! about an hour before our bedtime. This unit also cools down the sheets...LOVE it!! I'm glad our other unit needed to be replaced. VERY Happy with it's replacement.

Very efficent

Glad we did as it chills the room more quickly and doesn't seem to run as much. The eco fixture is perfect for those that want a dry/cool room but hate air being blown on you while you read the paper.

One shortcoming is the installation instructions which are a bit vague. I found going on the net for a video....actually a training video on Youtube was great.

Good Compact Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a good compact air conditioner. It is attractive, it has nice features and is not excessively noisy. I recently replaced a window air conditioner that I had used for 15 years with this model. I was a little disappointed that the noise level of the newer unit was not an improvement over the older unit it replaced. I did a lot of research and found some 6,000 btu window air conditioners that advertised themselves as being especially quiet, but they were all larger than this unit (at least 21 inches wide). Perhaps it is not easy to make a compact unit especially quiet. The noise level is not bad though, especially when wearing earplugs at night, which totally solves the issue. One thing I did not like about the unit was the economy feature automatically coming on every time it is turned on, but it seems this was required to qualify as an Energy Server unit. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend, particularly at the price point.

Great Unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely happy with this unit. It has more features than I expected. I like the eco mode which keeps the rooms at a comfortable temperature. It isn’t quiet, but not as noisy as previous unit I had.The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that I had to use a bit of insulation foam under and around extending louvers. But I have 30 year old vinyl replacement windows, with a higher ledge.Easy to install!

Nice ‘n Cool

I didn’t think it was powerful enough to cool my large room but it was definitely up for the challenge. It does a great job & I’m happy with my purchase. It fits perfectly in the window & doesn’t stick way out. Easy install.
