I replaced an LG with the Frigidaire window unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a window unit in my bedroom 3 years ago with a Frigidaire window unit when the living room LG unit died i replaced it with another Frigidaire unit i have been very happy with the bedroom unit and hope to be very happy with the new living room unit

Cools well, Controls can be confusing

Plenty powerful, but have been a bit perplexed by the temperature controls. Thermometer doesn’t seem to be super accurate. Remote sensing option seems to get the best results for me.

Works Well When It's Not Making A Fluttering Chattering Noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since day 1 it makes this fluttery chattering scratchy noise on all modes. It is not a normal noise.There are other reviews that mention a scratchy noise. After two or three weeks, the noise went away for a few days but has now returned. I was hoping to get it looked at through Frigidaire's authorized service but the COVID policy doesn't allow service calls at this time.
It's not as quiet as others have said. It cools pretty well, I guess. I am just really annoyed with the noise issue which is really disappointing.
I wish the display on the unit was larger or showed up on the remote. Really hard to see unless i get really close..
