Good Adapter

On MacBook Pro: Had Wi-Fi so didn't use the ethernet port. Connection to 55" LG TV monitor Looks good. (It's not 4K). Didn't have any devices to plug into USB-3 port.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I acquired a Tripp Lite U444-06N-H4GU-C for use with a Apple MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) running High Sierra (10.13.3). The build quality of the adapter is solid; it feels well made and durable. It was super simple to use; just plug it in and off you go. Charging of the MacBook Pro via the adapter worked; the system has three free USB-C connections to charge "natively", so using this adapter to charge is not likely on my system. USB 3.0 worked perfectly and so did the physical Ethernet port. I didn't have a 4K capable monitor handy, but I tested the video support on my 4K TV. Everything looked as it should; using the TV as a second display was simple and worked as you would expect. This is going to replace two expensive adapters (an Ethernet to USB-C and a Apple branded HDMI/USB to USB-C).
I would recommend this to a friend!
