Underrated by those who expect headphones to suit their hearing preferences out of the box.
These break the rules by adapting to personal sound preferences via uploaded EQ profile by QR code onto the users' audio profile created from a built-in hearing test. Once configured they double their value, sounding like headphones twice the price.
Definately a step up from the rest and the app is amazing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was initially skeptical on picking these up because of what the majority of youtube reviews said about them. It seemed the general consensus was that the out of the box sound and tuning wasn't great, and well I agree - but thankfully with the Nothing X app you can completely customize the EQ and make these headphones sound really good for the price.
The build quality is outstanding for the price, and as someone with Sony XM5's (and have tried the bose QC ultra) the Nothing Headphones blow them out of the park in build quality. Comfort is great, while a little heavy which gives them a bit of a snug feeling. ANC is good, not great. Sony is definitely still the king of ANC. I do enjoy the transparency mode on these headphones, but the Airpod Max are still on top for transparency.
Amazing battery life and they charge extremely fast. The only thing that should potentially throw you off of buying these headphones is the design. Personally, I love it. Reminds me of a retro, 90s kind of look, but I know its not for everyone.

Owned AirPods Max for a while and wanted something different. These are in almost every way superior despite being half the price. Design is so unique, battery life is incredible, and I personally found the audio punchier in some cases compared to the AirPods Max. I love the tactile buttons as opposed to finicky touch controls. The carrying case is ok, the zipper is annoying but other than that 10/10.

Great value with quality sound for a premium over-ear headphone. The roller wheel on the side has a very satisfying click to it also, and is a cool way to adjust volume. Maybe unpopular opinion but I prefer the black color. Definitely a very cool headphone.

Bought it and was so hyped, but looks cheap in person. The build is not good, scratches and smudges easily. Sound is not worth the price, not clear and tiring.

Great ANC audio with an awesome design, for less!

I love the design of these - both aesthetically and functionally. The sort of future-retro look is cool and different from all the same-same other brands and the construction (actual metal) feels sturdy and well made. Clamping pressure is good and secure, but still comfortable on my head. The earcups are pliable and seal well, while also being substantial enough to keep the inside of the phones from contacting my ears. The physical controls are well designed and very easy to use - thankfully no touch/swipe involved. Battery life is excellent, I almost never have to charge these. Connection has been simple and reliable. I have never had them fail to connect, which I can't say for the other brands I've had (Bose, Marshall, Sennheiser).
The ANC is solid and pass though mode works well. Audio quality is excellent, they sound a good as headphones that cost hundreds of dollars more.
I was a bit skeptical going into buying these because of the mixed reviews online. Basically what it seemed to come down to is reviewers see a device with an interesting design and they think that must have been prioritized at the cost of performance or functionality. Not all took that angle, but it was enough to make me think twice (glad it turned out to be no big deal).
Headphone sound (and hearing in general) is highly subjective. What sounds great to one person's ear or preference might not work for someone else at all. The good news is the Nothing app has one of the most powerful EQ interfaces of any of the major ANC headphone brands and, most importantly, it saves the setting to the device. The hardware is remarkably good for such a new/small brand, so you can definitely get these sounding the way you want. You can even download other people's settings, in case you want to switch between EQs to compare, or to tailor four different types of music. Awesome feature, and well implemented.
