These are hands down my favorite pens. They write so smooth and fast that they've ruined all other pens for me. The ink is bold but doesn't bleed and doesn't smear. If you like everything you write to be the perfect blend of legible and beautiful, buy these.
Great pens. I typically use the Sarasa roller ball pens. I tend to use these pens for art and inking drawings. I have tested dozens of pens and inking. Even custom combinations of inks, nibs, cartridges. Nothing beats Sarasa. The black is a very... super black. Nothing but India Ink even comes close. Flow is outstanding and controllable. With a 0.7 mm, I can typically achieve line widths of 0.3 or less. Despite the ink being low viscosity, I do not have issues with bleed. I can usually produce very fine sharp lines and no bleed through even with the lightest of paper. I do however have problems with smudging if I am not careful. I do tend to run the pens dry fairly quickly as well. But I tend to use them for shading and use them for lots of line work. I'm excited to test the Sarasa Porous Pens. Also, I have a request if this is a forum for such a thing. I also use brush pens, such as and particularly, Pentel FP5M and FRH. Though I tend to use my own ink (Speedball Super Black India Ink). The brushes are not too bad. Just and idea maybe. Keep up the great work!
Excellent pen. Very smooth. Ink begins flowing immediately without drag. Only wish that the blue ink was lighter and more vibrant. The blue is dark like some other gel pens and very close to black. I review and mark up documents and would like a blue ink that easily stands out compared to black print and even other blue pens.
Great pen. Smooth writing, good ink penetration into the paper. Excellent choice of colors. Two problems though - 1. the refills are not available in all colors. 2. the pens run out of ink too fast. Perhaps a bigger ink reservoir? These are my favorite gel pens.
