I've been using BIC Round Stic pens for years — they used to be my go-to for everything. Reliable, smooth, and lasted forever. But recently, the quality has absolutely tanked. The new "eco-friendly" version feels like it's made from recycled cereal boxes. The plastic is flimsy, the ink skips constantly, and the pen feels like it's going to snap in your hand with any pressure.
I’m all for sustainability, but this isn’t innovation — it’s cost-cutting disguised as going green. You can’t slap a "recycled" label on something and expect people not to notice the drop in quality. Whatever BIC did to these pens, they ruined a classic. Bring back the old version or I’m switching brands for good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Pen on the Planet!

Please don’t ever discontinue this pen! This is my all time favorite pen in the world. I can’t seem to find them at stores anymore. The fittment is super comfortable for writing, the pen releases the perfect amount of ink that allows you to make thin, pencil-like lines or dark, defined lines. The color is super satisfying to the eye! And on top of all that, they last forever. THANK YOU BIC! If I can manage to use these pens for the rest of my life… I will!

Nice smooth lines, not too big and not too small. Just perfect for documents, letters and cards or office users. I recommend this product for all your needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I received ten of these Round Stic Xtra Smooth pens, I passed them out to my co-workers. Everyone really liked how smooth the pens wrote and I liked the black ink. I would recommend them for a great writing utensil.

I had these for years now and every time I write with them they have always worked for me. Even in school, it's nice to use a reliable ballpoint that if it gets stolen I can just pull out another one. These pens made me want to collect more and more of them.

High quality pens that write smooth and clean without smearing or leaking. The plastic is durable, They write smooth, no dry point as you will get with others where the ink dries up on the ball, its pretty comfortable to hold for long writing sessions and rather flexible. This is a good, dependable pen and the smoothest pen I've ever used.
