Tape was packaged wrong.

I ordered the six pack of the tape in the dispensers. First, I have never figured out (using for years) how to easily get that little piece of cardboard out that gets stuck in the way of the blade. But the tape I just received, the tape is actually installed backwards! Yes, it was easy to take it off and turn it around, but really - who put it together!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

loved the ease of use

Bought to wrap a package of breakable glass that I had to ship. Did an outstanding job of securing the packing and the container. Loved the ease of the tear strip as I was one handed on parts of the pack.

As many times as I tried, I could not figure out how to make the tape usable. It would not unpeel from the roll. I looked at the instructions. They only tell you what everybody knows already - how to use it once you can get to it. But actually figuring out how to unpeel it? Nothing in the instructions. Nothing on line. So thanks for nothing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to Use, Great Results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Tape is easy to use to provide secure and neat package wrapping. I can wrap packages without the tape wrinkling or bunching. I can use less of this tape than other brands because it is strong enough to do the job with just one pass. It is reliable!

I agree with Clark that it should be possible to buy this excellent product without the dispenser, which has to be discarded each time: what a waste!

Good tape. Dispenser sucks

“Pull tape through tabs”?? The tape falls back onto the roll every time I tape something. I have no idea if I threaded the tape correctly or not. Wasted tons of tape because it sticks to the roll.

Tape works well

The tape depenser makes it a chore to use the tape. It needs some human engineering. How about a easy to use sturdy dispenser that you keep and buy just the tape once the dispenser is purchased

better dispenser needed
