I am disappointed in the yellow sponge more than the blue sponge. It turns brown and I cannot clean with a brown sponge. The brown color is more noticeable on the yellow sponge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We can see color transfer from coffee or other dark items but when immediately rinsed out we wouldn't expect that stain to stay. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Dad was glad when I got this free sample in the mail. He already knew these were good. My Mom was the one who got to use it while washing dishes, and she said it worked well. And she would know; she's washed a lot of dishes over the years!

Takes care of tough jobs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a free sample of the Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge. I put mine in my kitchen. It works great for removing stuck on/dried food and stains on my stovetop, but it doesn't scratch the surface.

How often have you reached for a scrubbie of some sort only to find that it is either worn out? Keep the Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge on hand for those occasions. Good in the kitchen, patio, barbecue or camper.

Been buying these sponges for years. Was a great product. No longer. You decreased thickness and after a few uses falls apart. Will not buy again.
