[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these for years and intend to continue to do so generally on a daily basis. I use them for washing a dish quick in the sink (instead of the dishwasher) and/or for wiping down the counter in the kitchen, such as my coffee prep area which seems to be the spot that needs the most cleaning...perhaps as I tend to drink coffee more often than actually cooking! I tend to find that they last a decent amount of time and will steralize them by zapping them in the microwave with some water.

works for a well variety of surfaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this on a number of things that are harder to clean. I have an older frig with the kind of textured type handles (white). It cleaned that up nicely. It's invaluable in the kitchen for the scrubbing jobs. I would recommend several b/c of cross contamination. It also works great on outdoor things, grills, furniture. I even tried it on the dogs nylon collar-after I soaked and rubbed it there was still some areas that were not quite clean and the sponge took it right off! It was especially efficient on things that weren't real smooth-such as the frig handles and dog collar. It took way less elbow grease to receive better results. And the scrubbiness of the sponge meant being able to use less chemical cleaners.

definitely for your heavier backed on messes. would be leery to use on some of my non-stick surfaces or any high gloss surfaces. but my crockpot is spotless thanks to this!

Heavy, heavy duty sponge!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge free for testing purposes. So I decided to give it one of the hardest tests of all. My terra cotta pots were in bad shape from enduring summers in a beach community. So with baking soda and water, I used my scrub sponge, and used it hard!!! My pots are as good as new, and even better, my manicure still looks great!! Thank you!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I don't do much of the cooking, I do all of the clean up, no matter how many dishes and pots and pans were used. We entertain a lot and have used our free Scotch-Brite scrub sponge several times since receiving it. I like the options of using both sides for soft scrubbing and/or serious scrubbing. It's my kind of sponge!!

Great scrubbing sponge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate.
This heavy duty scrub sponge worked great on scrubbing up a roasting pan with last night's stuck food. The scrubber side did not leave any scratches on my pan and the soft sponge side was great for cleaning my other dishes. I would definitely recommend giving this product a try. I only used it on my dishes, but I'm sure it could be used for multiple items that need a good cleaning.

The "Heavy Duty" part is a little misleading

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this from 3M to review. I've used this brand before but never this same sponge. As stated in the title, the "heavy duty" part isn't entirely accurate. First of all the non-fiber portion of the sponge is exceedingly thin. Maybe I'm just used to thicker sponges but this one just doesn't feel like it's cutting it.
