Have they changed materials

Seems of been changed, perhaps it’s composed of different materials. Does not seem as heavy duty as before. Most of the cleaning items purchased are Scotch brite( MMM ). Its getting harder to find alot of items. Pandemic??? I Have been looking for a scotch brite floor mop for my hardwood floors. I have the old model and you don't make the mop heads anymore. I was hoping the new model was as good as the old model. Definitely was my favorite cleaning apparatus. Looked every where Wally world, Jewel Osco, Menards and the list goes on.. I loved my old scotch brite floor mop for cleaning but if no one has it I guess I have to try another brand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bring back the square sponge!

This new, wavy sponge does not fit in one's hand properly. And it is more difficult to wring out. Not certain why Scotch Brite felt the need to change the design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Why The New Shape

The old rectangular shaped sponge was more functional and efficient. Especially when using the long straight edge on flat surfaces, like countertops. Look at all the negative feedback on the new shape. You guys need to have another Kaizen meeting and go back to what the customer wants. You know what they say, "If It Ain't Broke".

These used to be great

I've bought these scrubbers for years. They were always perfect for removing dried, stuck-on food remnants.
Unfortunately, they either decided to save money by using a crappier scrubber material, or make more money by making them deteriorate so we would replace them more frequently. Or both.
The new material seems to soften in warmer water, so it doesn't work very well. It's so soft, that when you rub it with your fingers, it feels greasy.
The only reason that it is marginally better than the dollar store brands is because the scrubber and sponge parts don't peel apart. If China improves their adhesive, we can all use those, instead.

Im a working woman and when i get home i dont feel like scrubbing the dishes to much but this product is great it works. as hard as i do i would definitely recommend this to anyone

new shape has given way to a worse product

I used the older scrub pad,rectangle shape, for all my cleaning. It was great for scrubbing hard to remove stains. It also lasted long. This new shape also has a new scrubbing material that is very poor at removing stuck on stuff. I will be looking for a replacement

What happened?

I bought these and don't they last as long as they used too. Also the green dye from scouring part bleeds into yellow sponge making it look like the sponge has mold. I like keeping sponge on sink but this makes me hid them when I have company.

What has happed to the quality?!?

Scotch-Brite heavy duty sponges have been a staple at our house for over 20 years. They have been the best until recently. The quality seems to be inferior now. The green pad falls apart after a couple of weeks. The change seems to have happened since they went from a rectangular sponge to a ‘wave’ shape. Please bring the high standards back!!!
