You can use scotch-brite for sanding joint compound all the way to preparing cars for painting.They don't dig in like sandpaper and create a really smooth surface.Try it out you'll love it.

the product works well. Good enough to be satisfied with your efforts to clean what you are trying to clean.
I don't like the way things stick to the surface of the pad. It makes the pad ineffective in a short period of time.

I like the scrubber Sponge it cleans what I need cleaned from a plate to the stove and oven. I change it out periodically and the price is always right for changing out the sponge for germs.

I have enjoyed using Scotch-Brite heavy duty sponges due to their ability to clean tough messes while still being gentle to the pots and pans that I am cleaning. Scotch-Brite sponges also last far longer than other sponges that I have used.
