Scotch Brite Sponges

By far, the best sponge on the market today. It holds the dishsoap and with a minimal amout of 'elbow-grease', does a great job. I do not own a dishwasher because I have always been a little 'OCD' about the cleanliness of the dishes we eat off of. Your sponge gives me peace of mind in knowing that they are absolutely clean. Good job!

Strong in More Ways Than One

I have am a long time user of the Heavy Duty Scotch Brite scrub sponge, yellow sponge with green scouring pad. I have always been very happy with this product. The Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge has always "stepped up to the plate," (pun intended!), and performed very well, no matter what the task.
In the past year, however, I have noticed that the Heavy Duty Scotch Brite Scrub Sponge dries completely overnight. This does not affect the performance in any way, shape or form. What I do find, however, is that after several, 4 or 5, occasions in which the sponge has dried out that the sponge develops a horrible odor and must be thrown away. I have tried multiple things to remedy this, including rinsing the sponge in bleach prior to putting it up for the day, and nothing seems to cure this problem. The odor returns as soon as the sponge is moistened again. The only remedy I have found is to rinse the sponge in something prior to using it for the first time each day. It is at that point that I can then continue to use the Heavy Duty Scotch Brite Scrub Sponge as normal, which for me is to use it for EVERYTHING!
I love this sponge and will continue to use it. The only change that would be great if you could do it, would be to add something that would fight the odor that occurs when the sponge dries out. So ever since I found this sponge I haven't used any other kind! It lasts forever and does a great job everywhere I use it. And trust me I've been cleaning houses for the past 3 yrs so I have used it on pretty much everything!

I always come back to scotch-brite. I have tried other cheaper sponges, but i find they do not last as long and do not work as good as scotch-brite sponges. Scotch-brite brand lasts longer.

Love, love, love this sponge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many brands of sponges, but none of the do what this sponge does. This has been the only sponge I buy for our home, but I saw the new Stay Clean sponges from Scotch Brite and I will be trying them too.
