Great pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really fashionable, pretty pencils! If you're a parent, consider buying your child these pencils! They write extremely well and the lead is very sturdy. If you are looking for classic pencils, that are able to be refilled with lead and erasers, I highly recommend this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic is synonymous with the production of writing utensils, and while I'm most familiar with their pens, I thought I'd give their pencils a try. And unsurprisingly, they make a great pencil too!
First it should be noted, the Xtra Sparkle refers to the casing design...it has nothing to do with the lead or actual writing. (This was obvious to me, but I thought I should make it explicit.) That said, the "sparkle" is fun, and certainly visually pleasing. Too, it sets it apart from other pencils so I can easily spot any of my pencils that have wandered off in the hands of my fellow work colleagues.
The design is classic, and it sits easy in my hand. The mechanism to advance the lead (by pushing at the eraser end) is smooth and extends at satisfying increments. The plastic is sturdy, and I've experienced no operational failures.
The lead is the standard #2...useful for almost any purpose, from test taking to art, and the writing is smooth and strong. The lead rarely breaks when used at a perfectly shallow angle. I have no complaints about the function and ability to write.
My only very small quibble is with the eraser. Because the lead leaves such a satisfactorily dark line, the erasers struggle with their task, and it can take quite a vigorous action to render the paper clean. But this is a minor complaint, and otherwise the eraser is large enough to do good duty, but not so large as to be wobbly or uncontrollable.
Overall a pencil that feels, looks, and functions well. Will recommend!

Nice pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave these pencils 4 stars as they are really nice however they come with just a tiny piece of lead so I had to go out and buy more lead right away which isnt really a problem, these would be great got school or at home and they are really sparkly! My 11 year old granddaughter loves them! They are made of really great quality and the lead does last awhile.

Classic with bling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old school pencils! I dig them though especially with the colors and bling you can get now. When I was a kid they just had orange haha! Grips better than a standard pencil, it's a #2, so it can be used for tests. Love these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping to put one of each of these pencils with my travel notebooks, but before I had the chance, my daughter absconded with all but one. The lowly remaining pencil has performed admirably in its service to me, the lead moves smoothly, the clicker is sturdy, and the eraser does what is intended. I give it 5 stars.
My daughter's review: "I brought these in for my friends because they have glitter and my friends LOVE glitter. They work good for writing but tear paper if you draw too hard. My favorite is the blue one!" She also gave them 5 stars.

Sparkle Pencils that last forever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughters love to use mechanical pencils and when we saw the sparkled style my youngest was so excited. I was weary because have bought pencils that look "cool" but seem to break or have rarely any lead in them. Not this brand--I couldn't be more happy how much lead is in them and how they are very sturdy.
