I purchased to put on the corner of my desk for often used files that I don't want to have to dig into a drawer for every time I have something to insert. Does it's job fine and has enough slots for me. Stable. Lightweight.

the file sorter was missing one plastic protector on the bottom part. You can not even tell it is missing unless you pay attention but if you pay for something you expect it to be in perfect condition. It looks good on my work desk.

I bought these for a new coworker who was concerned about how to organize all his files. Our office is basically just a vast expanse of files. To a newbie it must have been concerning to see all the files and to grasp just how to organize them. I saw these on staples.com and went for it. He LOVED them and immediately became my new office bestie. We like how they're on an incline so you can see all the file tabs at once without having to flip through or anything. Like you could be on the phone and just look over at your files and be like "Oh yeah I have the sardines file right here Sir!" You don't even have to move. Seriously though it's a REALLY convenient and nice looking way to organize files that you can't yet file away in your filing cabinet.

This is a perfect desktop file sorter. It staggers the files for easier access and easier location. Since I also purchased the colored file folders each section holds a color for my application. It doesn't take up much space on your desk and instead of having piles of paper each paper now has its own home.
