This is okay but just okay because it has no rubber feet. Luckily I have some leftovers available from wire shelving otherwise this thing would scratch my desk which is NOT okay.

I bought these for a new coworker who was concerned about how to organize all his files. Our office is basically just a vast expanse of files. To a newbie it must have been concerning to see all the files and to grasp just how to organize them. I saw these on staples.com and went for it. He LOVED them and immediately became my new office bestie. We like how they're on an incline so you can see all the file tabs at once without having to flip through or anything. Like you could be on the phone and just look over at your files and be like "Oh yeah I have the sardines file right here Sir!" You don't even have to move. Seriously though it's a REALLY convenient and nice looking way to organize files that you can't yet file away in your filing cabinet.

Metal Sorter holds files won't damage surface and can view each file name easily

Just as described in review title. The rubber tips on each "leg" is soft to ensure it will slide forward and back on desk top without hurting surface. Since rack rises each level you can view each files name. NOTE if only 1 thin file on a level they do tend to fall to one side.
