Because it was made to stand so has the little feet on the back - it makes it difficult to mount. However I have done so okay. Due to the feet it can move around a bit and it's not flush against the wall or mounting surface. Sometimes it's okay sometimes not. Depends on what you need it to be mounted for. Look for flat back holders for best mounting options. I do find this is the easist of the holders with ''feet'' to mount probably because it is a small brochure.
