The last time I needed new toner I ordered high capacity cartridges. This is an excellent offer for all laser printer users. These cartridges never dry up and clog like ink jet cartridges do. High capacity cartridges cost less per page to print so it is a bargain.

i keep getting messages that the cartridges need to be authenticated. Very annoying. Don't know how to turn them off. Tech support is non-existent. Paid too much for this printer, otherwise I would the it out the window.

Would give zero stars if I could. Imagine buying a car, happily driving it for three years, then Car Brand pushes a "security update" making it so you can only put Car Brand gas in your car. But that's stupid, you say, gas is the same! And you'd be right. And Car Brand would be wrong, bad, and dishonest. And that's what HP has done here.

It is understandable that you wouldn't want a blemish on the pages. I think I can help you troubleshoot. If not, I will walk you through a return. To fix this problem, clean off the printhead. A cloth or cotton swab can be used for this task. Next, conduct a test print page. If the page is still poor quality, then adjust the printer settings. Lastly, a return is made at www.hp.com/us-en/shop/cv/returnsandexchanges.
