[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Crane USA Evaporative Cool Mist Humidifier 0.5 Gallon for a bit now and overall it has been a really solid experience. I like how simple it is to set up and use especially since it does not have a lot of extra buttons or settings that feel unnecessary. The size is perfect for a bedroom or small living space and the 0.5 gallon tank lasts through the night without needing a refill which is a big plus for me. It runs quietly enough that it does not interfere with sleep and the cool mist feels light and comfortable rather than overwhelming. I also appreciate that it helps with dry air issues like a scratchy throat and dry skin especially during colder months. Cleaning it is fairly straightforward as long as you stay consistent with maintenance. Overall it feels well made dependable and effective without being bulky or complicated and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable everyday humidifier.

Gentle Mist

It has 3 settings for output and is low noise level. I haven't had a ny issues with it and it works well. I have it in our living room and it is inconspicuous. Glad I got this complimentary to try!

It dies the job!

I've now tested it for a few weeks and feel that it does the job well. It is easy to clean and maintain since there are only a few parts. It's quite very easy to assemble.

Good little humidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this humidifier a few weeks ago and came at the right time as we were sliding into cold weather. My son gets a lot of nosebleeds in the winter time and running a humidifier is crucial. This machine has a small footprint but was easy to set up. Doesn’t appear to have a lot of maintenance associated with it . Just make sure to empty it in the morning and clean the filter once a week. The machine is on the smaller side and holds a smaller amount of water than I would have liked.
The machine seems durable but it is very light weight and I feel it could be knocked over easily, so keep that in mind when placing it in your room.
The machine is not the quietest and does provide white noise sounds.
If I run this on low, I can get 6+ hours of run time before the water is gone. It will run for up to 90 minutes empty and then shut itself off, which is a safety feature I like.

Works great, easy to use, soooo super quiet!

Measures: 7 ¾” x 7 ¾” x 7 ¾” (adorable cube size!)
Color: top is bright white, base is a soft translucent blue
Cord length is 47” long. Comes with a 1 ¾” long rectangle shape, white, wall adapter. The plug is a Type A two parallel pins plug – the kind used in the US that operates on a 120V supply voltage. This is not a plug that can be used in Europe without an adapter.
Sound: Super quiet! This humidifier creates a perfectly calming background noise and is quieter than my 5 ½” personal fan that I use for white noise when sleeping.
Materials included: easy to wash clean filter and power cord with plug.
Where to use: Instructions say to place on a solid, waterproof, elevated surface. Why? To keep humidity away from the wall and wooden furniture as a way to protect the areas from getting damaged. I put a 12” x 16” tray under the humidifier which works well to protect the area.
Liquid Amount Held: The instructions say the container holds 2.5 liters. 2.5 liters equals 10.4 cups. I put 10 cups in the tank and took a picture. Then I added one more cup and the water line is just below the tank’s venting holes. So, in my experience, the container can hold up to 11 cups of water.
This humidifier is very simple to use! There are three levels of output speed / fan sound. On the top of the fan there is a green dot light to indicate level 1 (slow) level 2 (medium) and level 3 (high). The light and power switch are the only functions on the top.
I have used daily for a week. Water lasts for an impressive 15 hours. Consistent humidity output, noise level does not change, and the walls / area are not dripping. I have kept it in a 12’ x 16’ room with the door open.
This humidifier does not have: a temperature read-out panel, any LED display panel, a nightlight, nor an aroma diffuser.
This humidifier: is definitely a cool mist, doesn’t get hot after hours of use, is dishwasher safe (tank only), has a germicidal UV light on the top that is barely noticeable, can run on a full tank for about 15 hours. Uses about 3/4 cup of water per hour while running on high speed.
