Dear RallyDave,
Thank you for your comment.
We do understand your disappointment with the product and the inconvenience this may have caused if you had issues with Bitlocker initially. Remember that Bitlocker is a securirty feature and it prevents unauthorized access to the OS. Windows update may trigger an issue with Bitlocker temporarily while being installed and applied in the System Registry and connecting external devices may trigger an alert, also. Should you need further assistance with the product, please email me at cl-rodel@asus.com and I would be more than happy to help. Or, you are most welcome to call Product Support Hotline at: 1(888) 678-3688. Also, you can chat with an ASUS live support agent from the link: https://www.asus.com/us/support/article/1135/.
Thank you for choosing an ASUS product.
Regards,

Excellent product. My previous 3 yr old laptop was a Dell and the back of the screen at the left hinge fell apart. Dell said sorry you're out of warranty. Your Vivobook is the same size but half the weight and much faster. I've only had it a couple of weeks but liking everything about it. Very nice computer!

Very light weight, nicely sized laptop for keeping records, sorting photos and files, light gaming, and browsing the internet. The operating speed is excellent making it very responsive. Biggest downside I have found so far is the 10 key arrangement. The zero key is not beneath the 2 key, the decimal is not beneath the 3, the plus and minus keys are shifted left by the num lock key, and the multiply and divide keys are shifted left by the power key, making learned 10 key input VERY tedious. Similarly, page up and page down require an extra key or using the arrow keys. Not sure these things would be a deal breaker, had I noticed them prior to purchase, but I definitely would have kept looking.
