Not worth it

Machine is too small to be of any real use, even in a simple 2 family household like myself. The most irritating thing I've found is 50% of the time, detergent packs get stuck on the rubber door seal in the first minute of starting a cycle and will stay there untouched for the remainder of the cycle, leaving you with wet, uncleaned clothes. I've learned to sit and watch the cycle to ensure this doesn't happen, but when it does I have to set it to a "Spin" cycle to unlock the door which adds an extra 10-15 minutes on to the total time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Motor Failed After 6 1/2 Years

I was forced to buy a 24 inch machine because of space limitations and thought this would be the best based on reviews. After 6.5 years of moderate use, the machine stop spinning and was told it needs a new motor. Given that I paid $1,200 for the machine, 6.5 years of life for a motor seems terrible. Would not buy again or recommend.

Very gentle on clothes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very pleased In the 4 years of using my Axxis washer/dryer pair. Recently had to replace washer bearings and drum due to the rear part (which I believe is called the spider) breaking. Even after repair (parts were easy to find), I would purchase this set all over again. It's been used daily for a variety of items ranging from heavily soiled mechanics clothing to rugs to delicates and lots of heavy denim jeans. It's used in an upstairs bathroom so I can tell when it's in spin cycle (sounds a bit like a jet engine). Washer and dryer are very gentle on clothing. During recent repair I had to resort to using our older top load set made by a different manufacturer. First thing I noticed was that clothes were not as soft even though I used the same laundry products so I think using the ventless dryer is much gentler on items. It took me awhile to adjust to using the proper amount of detergent/conditioner which is much less than I was used to. When we disassembled washer for repair my detergent abuse was evident as the outside of drum assembly had quite a bit of build up (I considered that a plus in favor of machine since that was in machine and not still in my clothes). Use of bleach is not recommended but Sanitary Cycle always keeps my whites looking good. Overall, both the washer and dryer have been workhorses and I couldn't be happier with them!

Bosch Axxis + Washer

My washer is displaying Door Open and the door is shut, there isn't clothes in the way of the door so I'm not sure what to do. Help!!!
