Everything sounds tinny
on March 23, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely high highs and distorted lows. Cheap feel. Clunky controls. Spotty ANC. Returned to get the Pro version. Open ear design is not for me. Other people might enjoy them. Connectivity is amazing, call quality is good, good mic, nice features like AI and translator is cool. The equalizer was really cool too. They fell out of my ear a lot.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Galaxy Buds3, Clint. It’s great to see that you appreciated the amazing connectivity, call quality, and mic performance, as well as standout features like AI, translator capabilities, and the customizable equalizer, which provides unique sound options. For the fit, proper adjustment is key to ensuring comfort and stability. Aligning the earbuds with the directional marks (L for the left ear and R for the right ear), rotating them slightly, and using the ear tips that provide the most secure seal can improve their fit. Regular cleaning of the touch-sensitive sensors and ear tips also helps maintain their performance and fit. Your feedback on the sound quality and open-ear design provides valuable insight. Thank you for highlighting these aspects, as they contribute to a better understanding of user preferences. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

All depends on the size of your ears.

They don't fit well in my ears and there's no way to change that. They also spew sound throughout the immediate area so everyone can hear what you're listening to. The design makes it difficult to adjust the fit without changing settings by accident. The sound they put out is good though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there Paulie! Thanks for sharing your experience with the Galaxy Buds3! We understand how important it is to get the right fit for an optimal audio experience. Since the Buds3 are open-type buds, they don’t have ear tips, which can definitely make fitting them a bit different from traditional canal-type earbuds. To help you get started, be sure to check the directional marks on the bottom of the buds. The 'R' should be facing you when you insert it into your right ear, and the 'L' should be facing you for the left ear. A helpful tip is to angle the stem slightly so that the microphone points towards your mouth rather than hanging straight down. If the fit doesn’t feel quite right, you can easily adjust them by rotating the buds forward or backward until you find the perfect position that feels secure and comfortable. This adjustment can really enhance both comfort and sound quality! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

Hey Debisi! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Galaxy Buds3! It’s great to hear your thoughts. These buds are specifically designed as open-type earbuds, which truly sets them apart from traditional canal types. This design allows for a more natural listening experience without the need for tips, and we hope you’ve noticed how comfortable they can be. When getting started, we recommend that you check the directional marks on the earbuds. Ensuring you insert the R bud into your right ear and the L bud into your left is crucial for optimal sound quality. Positioning is key, especially when angling the blade slightly towards your mouth, for better microphone performance. If you’re finding the fit to be a bit off, remember you can adjust them by gently rotating them forward or backward. It’s all about finding that perfect fit that feels just right for you! Your feedback is invaluable as it helps us refine the user experience, so don’t hesitate to share more thoughts. For any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

We appreciate your honest feedback regarding the Galaxy Buds3, Cledo. We always look forward to hearing from our customers. The Galaxy Buds3 feature a brand-new design and fit, crafted for ultimate comfort no matter where your day takes you. The buds are designed as open-type buds rather than canal types, so they do not have earbud tips. Insert the R bud into your right ear with the R facing you, and the L bud into your left ear with the L facing you. Angle the blade slightly so that the microphone on the bottom points towards your mouth rather than straight down. Would Not Buy Again

I wish I wouldn't have traded in my Galaxy Buds 2 for these. They're very uncomfortable to wear and fall out easily. The sound is good when they're working properly. I've had to disconnect and reconnect them several times because they'll start sounding statically at random times. I love Samsung products, but unfortunately, I would not recommend these ear buds.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Galaxy Buds3, April. In regard to the fit, adjusting the earbuds for a secure fit is crucial. Rotate the earbuds left or right until they fit comfortably, ensuring the touch-sensitive sensor makes contact with your ear for optimal functionality. If the earbuds feel loose, repositioning them may help achieve a better fit. If you experience static noise while using the earbuds, you can try restarting them to refresh their functionality. Place the earbuds in the charging case, close the lid, and wait for 7 seconds. Then, open the lid and reconnect the earbuds to your device. Cleaning the earbuds, especially the touch-sensitive sensor and speaker area, can also help improve audio performance and reduce static. If the sound persists, reconnecting the earbuds through the Galaxy Wearable app can provide additional customization options for optimal sound quality. Your feedback is valuable, and we appreciate you sharing this with us! If you have any further concerns or questions, please be sure to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

It's great to hear from you, Shaaheem. Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Galaxy Buds3. Since these earbuds have an open-type design, achieving a secure fit is essential for optimal performance. Adjusting the earbuds by gently rotating them left or right can help them sit more comfortably and securely in your ears. Bad fit, no solutions

These do not stay in my ear at all. I was willing to find accessories that could help keep them in/on my ear but couldn't find anything. The gestures become a neusance when the bud needs to be touched/adjusted constantly. I don't know how I could've tried them before I bought either, going to a store to find a floor model sounds unsanitary?

Thank you for your feedback about the Galaxy Buds3, Gabriel. We understand that a proper fit is crucial for comfort and sound quality, and the Galaxy Buds3 are designed with this consideration in mind. To achieve the best fit, try adjusting the position of the earbuds in your ears and experimenting with different angles to ensure they stay secure. The Galaxy Buds3 are open-type earbuds rather than canal-type, so they do not include earbud tips. To get started, simply place the earbuds in your ears and look for the directional marks at the bottom of each earbud, labeled "L" for left and "R" for right. Insert the R bud into your right ear with the "R" facing you, and the L bud into your left ear with the "L" facing you. Angle the earbuds slightly so that the microphone on the bottom points towards your mouth rather than straight down. You can fine-tune the fit by rotating the buds forwards and backwards until they feel comfortable. For any further concerns or questions, please be sure to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

The Galaxy Buds3 are designed as open-type earbuds, which means they don’t have ear tips like canal-type earbuds. To ensure the best fit, it’s important to wear them correctly. Check the bottom of the earbuds for the directional marks "L" and "R." Insert the "R" earbud into your right ear with the "R" facing you, and the "L" earbud into your left ear with the "L" facing you.
