The single worst pair of headphones I ever bought. Very let down. Buds pro2 were great. These are super thin sounding, don't fit in the ear well, and the noise cancel basically doesn't do anything.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Galaxy Buds3, Aggie. We appreciate your honest feedback and hate to see that your experience hasn’t met your expectations. The Galaxy Buds3 are designed to provide high-quality audio. To enhance your listening experience, you might want to consider customizing the sound using the equalizer settings in the Galaxy Wearable app. This feature allows you to adjust the audio profile to suit your preferences. Regarding the fit, the Galaxy Buds3 are crafted to stay secure during use, but comfort can vary depending on individual ear shapes. To achieve the best fit, ensure the earbuds are positioned correctly by inserting them with the imprinted direction marks facing you and the microphone oriented towards your mouth. Rotating the earbuds gently to the left and right can help them sit securely in your ears. For the noise-canceling feature, the Galaxy Buds3 offer Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) to reduce background sound distractions. If you feel the feature isn’t performing as expected, ensure that it is activated either by pinching and holding the earbuds (if the controls are set to noise-canceling) or through the Galaxy Wearable app. Proper positioning of the earbuds is also critical for effective noise cancellation, as the feature works best when the earbuds are fitted snugly. We value your feedback on these aspects, and it helps us continuously refine and enhance our products. If there’s anything further you’d like to share or if you need assistance optimizing your experience, don't hesitate to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus

I got the pro about 2 months ago. The speaker is very low. I can barely hear anything while I'm on the nyc train platforms or stations. Also doesn't fit my ears and I've switched the bud out 2xs.

The buds are too large and keep falling out of my ears. They also keep losing the sound.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback on the Galaxy Buds3, Gman. Your insights help us as we continue to make improvements and changes. We see that you had some concerns regarding the fit and the buds' sound being a little low. The Galaxy Buds3 are open-type buds rather than canal types, so they do not have earbud tips. All you have to do to get started is simply place them in your ears. Check the bottom of the earbuds for directional marks. You will see an L and an R. Insert the R bud into your right ear with the R facing you. Insert the L bud into your left ear with the L facing you. Angle the blade slightly so that the microphone on the bottom is pointing towards your mouth rather than straight down. You can adjust the buds by rotating them forward and backward until the fit feels right. If you're experiencing low sound, make sure to check the volume settings on your phone. You can increase the sound using the Volume up key. Keep in mind that the phone and the earbuds have two separate volume controls, so if the volume is set to max on your phone and the sound output is still low, this is likely the reason. To control the volume on the earbuds themselves, you'll need to set up touchpad commands. Additionally, be sure to check the media volume limiter settings on your device. For more troubleshooting options, please be sure to check out the link attached. If this continues to be your experience, do not hesitate to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01111323/#no-or-low-volume-when-playing-music-or-one-bud-disconnects smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus

My Galaxy Buds3 lasted me about three months when one of my buds stopped working, so I had to send them to Samsung for repair, and everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. My other issue is that I have a difficult time keeping them in my ears and I need it to be able to a bit louder.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Galaxy Buds3, Keith! We truly appreciate your feedback, especially regarding the friendly support you received during the repair process. We hope you’ve received your earbuds back or will be getting them soon. Regarding your fit concerns, since the Galaxy Buds3 are open-type rather than canal-type, it can require some adjustment to find the right fit. We recommend checking the bottom of the earbuds for directional marks—R for right and L for left. When placing them in your ears, make sure the R bud is facing you in your right ear and the L bud is positioned similarly in your left ear. Angle the earbuds slightly so the microphone is pointing towards your mouth, and you can also rotate them forward and backward until they feel secure. To enhance your listening experience and make the sound a bit louder, don’t forget to explore the EQ settings in the Wearable app. If you have any further concerns or questions, please feel free to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus

I purchased the Bud3 because I really like this style that fit in my ears better than any buds that have the squishy covers, so I was excited when Samsung came out with the Bud3s. sound quality is great, the noise cancellation works pretty good, and the quick connect to my samsung phone is awesome, especially having to quickly switch to my computer is a breeze, probably my favorite trait. Coming from first gen airpods this was a huge upgrade. However. I am hugely disappointed in the poor craftsmanship in the technology standing up to the test of time and wear (which is hardly any time at all, it keeps failing/having the same issues.
Purchased in January 2025 and at the time of writing this review in November 2025 I've had to send them in for warranty repair I think at least TWO or THREE times, after the most recent time, I was basically sent a new pair (or just new cradle? Im not entirely sure - I got a whole new SN to have to register) Lo and behold I am having to send this "new" pair in for repair for yet again the same issue - the right bud all of a sudden decides it wants to be super low volume. After making sure the bud is charged and up to date, still no resolution. I've registered the new SN and for some reason the website won't let me start a repair ticket. Samsung support is pretty backed up (can I not just send in an email inquiry??)
Anyway, I'll try again later. I use my buds every single day for work and leisure. Barely lasting a year is not a great look. Hopefully this can get resolved and actually last longer than a few months.......
Pretty tragic, I honestly really like the buds, when they actually work...
In the mean time, I'll see what else is on the market too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased these about a year ago, and read all of the reviews before doing so. I love Samsung, and have had their phones for many years, and also their watch. The main issues in the reviews I read, stated that the buds do not stay in your ears, and that they make a loud sound when you adjust them. I took a chance, and hoped for the best. Well the reviews were spot on. The sound quality is awesome, I love the noise cancelling feature, but also the feature that I can turn that off. However they do not stay in my ears at all. I have tried all 3 sizes of tips, and I use the fit guide on the app, however it does nothing. I can be sitting perfectly still, and they will just fall out. Walking around my house, I constantly readjust them. If I am doing anything outside, or heaven forbid sweating, then forget it, they won't stay in at all. Anytime I adjust them, while trying to prevent them from falling out, they make a high pitch noise that is very annoying. Luckily it is very brief. I have never attempted to get a new pair, since I believe it is a major design flaw, any subsequent pairs will be the same. Personally I'm just biding my time until they come out with the next generation, and hoping it is a much better fit.
Samsung, you can do better!

These are kind of a chore to wear.

I think these sound great, and have amazing features, but they do not stay in my ear even after looking up samsungs placement video, and they need a very specific placement anyway to get that sound. Since you will be constantly adjusting them you will also be constantly fighting the touch controls. If you want to actually take advantage of the touch controls you are most likely going to pop them out. There are no included wing tips or accessories for fitting so its a luck of the draw if your ear shape is compatible with them.
Any movement is a risk of wedging them out of your ear. Tilting, turning your head, reaching up or swallowing, chewing, or smiling. Talking into them invites all kinds of movement so that wont be anywhere close to a hands free experience.
I wouldn't buy this unless you are 100% sure on the fit. I'm not sure where and why you would want to try on a display model though. Maybe you can find one laying around on the ground since that is where they love to be.

Hey there Bill! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on the Galaxy Buds3. We're thrilled to see your interest in our innovative design! The open-type design of the Galaxy Buds3 provides a unique listening experience, allowing for a more natural awareness of your surroundings. This setup eliminates the need for earbud tips, making it easier to wear for extended periods. If you're trying to get the perfect fit, remember to check the directional marks on the earbuds. The “R” and “L” indicators make it straightforward to place them correctly, with the R bud in your right ear and the L bud in your left. Adjusting the angle of the buds so that the microphone is pointed towards your mouth enhances call clarity, too! Feel free to rotate them slightly to find a comfortable position that works best for you. We understand that every ear is unique, and we want your experience to be just right! Initial connection was seamless, and the sound is amazing! However, after a few weeks, I started having a problem with one of the earbuds not being recognized by the case, thus not charging. I was able to clean the earbud tip, re-set them to factory settings and get them to work again. In a few short weeks, the same issue happened, only this time I wasn't able to fix it. Samsung support was worthless. I apparently have to travel 40 miles to the nearest shop to have it fixed - I shouldn't have to do this after only a few months, and I don't have any hope this will fix the issue permanently. I only used them approximately 10 times. I am super disappointed. I read other reviews which identified this as an issue but thought that they may have been isolated cases. Don't waste your money...
