Galaxy buds3 Pro are missing functionality

These earbuds are fantastic sounding. Build quality is great, the ANC is awesome. They are missing one feature that virtually all other earbuds at this price point. They do not have multipoint connectivity. You cannot be connected to more than one device at the same time. This is a real short coming and is not well communicated in the specs from Samsung. For musicians, multipoint connection is critical because we need to be able to hear music from a device and also the instrument one is playing at the same time. This enables us to practice along with music or backing tracks. Virtually all buds at this pricepoint have this function and without it, these really expensive earbuds are virtually useless for what I bought them for. I know I should have researched more, but there are plenty of websites that list these as having multi-point connectivity, so the research I did led me to believe these had that function.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate your suggestion about multipoint connectivity. While the Galaxy Buds3 do not support true Bluetooth multipoint, they do come with Samsung’s Auto-Switch feature. This allows you to seamlessly switch between multiple Samsung Galaxy devices within the same ecosystem, so you can easily move between your phone and tablet, for example. However, as you mentioned, they won't connect to a phone and a laptop at the same time like true multipoint would. They die a quick death

I've bought 2 Samsung Galaxy Buds3, both failed very quickly. Both had right ear bud stop charging so it died. No amount of cleaning to Bud3 or case changed anything. Ear fit was impossible to make good, really no noise cancelling but had good sound while they lasted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No Silicone Tips!

I bought these earbuds specifically because they don't have silicone tips. I have a silicone allergy and can't wear most earbuds. I discovered that allergy after owning and using several previous generation Galaxy buds for myself and my family.

The fit is not perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit of the new Galaxy buds is okay. The design feels like a let down. I wish the base model had ambient sound. The Galaxy AI features feel like filler. I have never used them. But I do like them being there for the people that use it.

Wearing your earbuds correctly is crucial for better sound quality, comfort, and secure fit. Improper wearing can cause discomfort, sound leaks, and increase the risk of falling out. Especially during activities like jogging, ensure they fit well to avoid losing an earbud. Since the Galaxy Buds3 are open-type and lack ear tips, simply place them in your ears. Check the bottom for L and R marks, with R in your right ear and L in your left. Angle the microphone side slightly toward your mouth, and adjust the position by rotating until comfortable. The features of this product are amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the real-time interpreter. I have used it a few times at work already. I love the way when I put on my Buds3, the EQ automatically adjusts to my ears, and I really haven't had to mess with it. I love taking my Buds 3 on bike rides. I love that I'm able to hear the ambient noise when I'm biking around just in case somebody is behind me or to the side of me; it's amazing.

Best Sound Choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Buds 3 is an awesome sound experience, the ANC works well and it provides great customization for listening to music as well as videos. The voice commands are my go to, especially while washing the dishes at home and my hands are unavailable, all I have to do is say "next song" or "play music" and it does it.
The multi-device connectivity is very helpful as well, I can switch from using my phone to my laptop or even my watch without having to disconnect and reconnect.
The ear buds are secure in my ears, even when I violently shake my head, they won't fall out. However over time, whenever I exercise or sweat, the earbuds tend to get loose and become more prone to falling out.
A great pair of buds, overall.
