Extra sensitive cook top

This cook top beeps all day and all night. E-23 and E-11. It cuts off and won't cut back on for ten min. This is a expensive piece of junk.

We purchased the cooktop in 2010 But then.....

Like I said we bought the Cooktop in 2010 , along with Electrolux doubleovens inductions ovens which we truely love, but about a year and 1/2 ago we started having a problem with the cooktop and it is getting much worse. We can start cooking and then all of a sudden the whole cooktop gets flashing E's across all the burners, it used to be only if something splashed on the stove or you got something on it as your were sturing and would only last a few seconds, but now wil last 30 - 45 minutes. We have an exteneded wattenty but it is pro-rated so now if they can't fix it it would cost us any where from 35 - 45 5 to replace it. and I hardly think that is fair.. This a faulty product. An expensive Faulty poduct.

Heats fast, cooks great, cleans great!

I bought it a month ago and thought I would miss cooking with gas but this heats just as fast and cooks just as evenly and is easier to clean. It looks elegant too in my newly remodeled kitchen.

Love the Beautiful New Cooktop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 20 years in the house we built, it was time to replace the old knob style cooktop. Looking at all the major brands, we chose Electrolux. The style, features, burner size and placement had all the others beat. We love the sleek style and front located touch controls. There are 15 heat settings for each burner. The built in safety settings are great to have. Power does not go on unless it is pressed for 2 seconds, eliminating an accident by a child's glancing touch. And after a burner is turned off, the whole unit will turn off automatically after 10 seconds if the off was not selected. The burner size and placement maximize the available 30" cooktop space. Love it, thanks Electrolux!
