The lid on this cooker Series J2732DJ does not fit securely. Either the base or the lid is out of round, ergo, when cooking product essentials will escape, Product essentials(captured aromas) are an integral part of slow cooking flavor enhancement. This cooker is a replacement for the HB I had for years and lid fit securely on that bowl! What happend??? Sloppy mfg practice, not enough QC oversight?? Too much emphasis on productioon vs meeting quality spec? Don't think I'll recomend this cooker to my circle .

I love the fact that the top can be securely placed so it doesn't slide fall off and break. I cooked a ham for Christmas in it and it turned out absolutely amazing. Can't wait to continue to cook with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a second choice, but it would now be my first choice going forward! The Crock Pot in this size was sold out, and as I needed one I thought that I'd give this a try. It is every bit as good as the other brand, easy clean up, has a GLASS lid and removable stoneware liner just like the other, but is literally half the price! Since buying the first I have added a second as well as 2 smaller ones as well. I love them all!
I would recommend this to a friend!
