[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying - this does not compare to the perfect laptop that was my old IdeaPad bought in 2021.
The screen is bigger, there is a number keypad, and bigger memory. It is a pretty great laptop, but I do have one major issue.
The trackpad is off center, slightly to the left. When resting my fingers on the home keys (F & J) the inside of my palm/thumb sometimes triggers the trackpad. Meaning, when I am typing, the cursor will jump around, sometimes text is selected, and it is very frustrating. I am sure this is something I just need to get used to, but if you plan on using this laptop for lots of typing, please know you may need to adjust your hand placement.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a great budget-friendly laptop. It handles my daily tasks with zero fuss, thanks to that AMD chip, and the build quality feels more solid than the price suggests. The keyboard is actually a huge plus—typing on it is a breeze, and the number pad is handy. Battery life has been decent for light work too. The only real bummer for me was the display; it's a bit lackluster compared to the snappier OLED model. Still, it's a fantastic everyday machine that definitely gets the job done without breaking the bank.
