Nice iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach stainless steel and black iron heats up quickly and is easy to use. You don't need to use a lot of pressure to get wrinkles out. It has vertical steam, so you can smooth clothes without taking them off the hanger. I am a multitasker, so I really like that it shuts off after 15 minutes if it's left unattended. It will also shut itself off if it falls on it's face or side.

Great iron for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a heavy duty one kind of heavy but it's good. Has a long cord, and an extra long stainless steel plate. I think it heats up pretty fast. Steam works great on my shirts. All in all I would recommend this iron, as it's easy to use and works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Hamilton Beach Stainless Steel and Black Iron is very durable and makes ironing easy. This iron has many adjustable settings based upon the fabric type - cotton, linen, wool, rayon, polyester, silk and nylon. I love being able to iron while the clothing is still on the hanger. This product has the ability to vertically iron right in my closet. I could never do that with my previous iron. I've always needed an ironing board. The ironing board gets in the way of ironing and I never have enough space. I frequently need to iron my collared shirts for work. This iron makes it easy and convenient, especially when I am in a rush in the morning.
I appreciate the auto shut off feature. We all forget to unplug appliances when we're in a rush. I don't have to panic with this one. It shuts off automatically. It also heats up immediately so I can use my limited time I have to quickly iron. The steam is constantly working with every swipe over the clothing. The iron isn't very lightweight but has a good strong weight and grip. If you're clumsy like I am, no need to worry with this iron. It stays put and it's durable and well made. The cord is also long to prevent unplugging. If you're looking for a traditional iron that heats up quickly, I highly recommend this one!

Great iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach stainless steel iron is a great iron! It gets hot quickly and makes my clothes look seamless after ironing them. I like the size of it, it makes it so easy to use and the long cord is nice, I don't have to move my clothes around much while ironing. The steam function is great because it is powerful and works well!

Great iron with fantastic features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Hamilton Beach Professional Iron and am very pleased. I hate to iron but this iron made it effortless. The anti-drip technology is fantastic and believe me it does not drip. The vertical steam is wonderful to use as a quick steam iron without using an ironing board. Forget to turn the iron off, no problem because it shuts off automatically. Great feature or if it falls on its side it will shut off almost immediately. The heat settings are precise and I do not have to worry about ironing a delicate fabric.

Cool looking iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not used an iron in probably close to 10 years, but this iron was so cool looking I decided to give it a try. It is lightweight, has a swiveling cord which I really like, and is a steam iron as well as a dry iron.. The iron worked beautifully strictly as a dry iron. I ran into trouble when I tried to use the steam part of it. Maybe it's because I haven't used an iron in a long time, but I feel the design of the iron dealing with the steam portion could be more user friendly. For starters, the instructions are almost non-existent. There is a picture of the iron with the various knobs, etc. named along with their function.I tried to follow how to turn the iron into a steam iron, but had problems. I found where the water is poured for the steam, but for the life of me I could not seem to figure out how to fill the water chamber to the Max line. I tried, but water poured out of the chamber, so I emptied part of it out and dried off the bottom of the iron. When the iron was lying flat on the counter, the water certainly did not reach the Max line.I was able to spray water onto my clothing, but I could not seem to get the blast part to work. I finally found a manual on-line that gave somewhat better instructions, but it still didn't address my problems.I finally gave up and emptied the water out of the chamber and finished ironing my sweater with the dry iron. The iron is so beautiful though that I might just have to find some clothing that I can iron with the dry iron portion. I would be most open to any suggestions on what I am missing with my unit and I most certainly would be open to any and all suggestions on how to address the problems I encountered. As I said at the start of this review, it has been a very long time since I used an iron so it could well be that I just don't know what I'm doing and the iron is perfectly OK. I don't want to give less stars for something that quite possibly is my fault so I only marked down the areas I had trouble with. It truly is a cool looking appliance so there is no question that I will keep it!

It is stainless steel and made with the highest quality materials and will last a life time. I love that it is lightweight and easy to use and handle. It smoothes out the wrinkles so fast with its stainless soulplate.I also like the adjustable setting . I love the design and how easy it is to clean and take care of.
