Could do better

This bike hook could be excellent, but it has a major design flaw. The hook does not securely grip the track, so it is prone to falling off either while hanging or removing a bike, or if you just bump the hanging bike. This could result in an injury. I pulled the trigger off and ran a screw through the hanger and track to lock it in place. Rubbermaid could do better on this one.

I had the Fast Track System in my previous house and brought the attachment hooks with me when I moved. Even added another Track. Some people have mentioned that the hooks don't hold on the rail properly. Everyone needs to be aware that the plastic cover needs to be in place for everything to work properly( I ran into this issue myself).
I just bought my Fast Track rail with two vertical bike hooks. It looks and works great. I would recommend this to anyone looking to organize their garage. I bought the 84" rail so that I could add the two bikes and a few other hooks for my extensions cords, etc. This also helps to get items off of the garage floor so that I can blow out the garage without having to move anything around. My only question is do you sell a wheel pad for the bottom tire that hooks to the wall to avoid wall marks? Overall a great product all around!
The bike hook clips onto the track cover, but not the track itself. Hence, the hook "unhooks" easily at the slightest nudge of bike. All comes crashing down - unfortunately, crashed down to hood of my car and dinged it. Does not do what it says it will do.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear that you have had this experience with our product. You will be contacted shortly by a representative from our Consumer Care Department.
It does what it's supposed to. I don't understand all the hate on the new version where the front wheel touches the wall - the rear wheel always touches the wall with the old version, so what's the difference?
These were installed in my building's bike room but the protective sleeve has broken in less than a year's use. What's worse is the fact that I can't find any easy way to replace them.
I can't say anything about durability since I've only had this bike hook for a week, but so far it's doing what it's supposed to, which is keeping my bike off the floor. It was incredibly easy to install.
The length of the hook is insuffielcient to handle deep carbon wheels. It would be nice if Rubbermaid offered a longer hook or, better yet, a hook with an adjustable length.
