Great Design. Is Base too Deep?

My 3rd PAL. I wish it came with clear information on what you must buy to charge it. It comes with a cord, of course, but what do you plug that cord into???? I find the earlier PALs had more natural sound. My new one is beautiful but I find the base sound far too deep in my opinion, a very unnatural sound....
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent little radio which sounds much bigger than it is. Convenient size. Color availability makes it easy to place just about anywhere, "matching" just about any environment. Sound quality is excellent and radio sensivity is also excellent. Simple, convenient design make these radios very convenient to own and use. in fact, I own 2!.

PAL BT Gen2 is a hit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this PAL BT Gen2 radio to replace my original PAL radio (date code 1105). The quality of this new PAL is much improved compared to the 2005 model, but I still use and enjoy both of them.

Have non BT and wanted new feature, analog dial for tuner. Only drawback is no ext signal for subwoofer mono computer hook up.

I bought it to listen to radio

We live in an area with two weak radio stations. The weaker station broadcasts with 2800 watts about 10 miles from us and no line of sight. Regardless we get good reception in parts of the house that have only one exterior wall between us and the radio station.The speaker is exceptionally good. We've had two older ones in our house in the sfbay area for 20 years and are happy with them there also. I did eventually have to replace their batteries. Easy to do.

I received my new unit in Black and it looks great and sounds amazing for such a small unit.I have owned this unit in the past and this new USB charger seems to last longer and charge super fast !Also, the new speaker is much better too !
