Good sound, awful battery

Two stars for the sound. I thought it was a great product playing around at home, until I cranked it right up for a mobile event (for which I bought it) and the battery only lasted ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES, and died barely half way through the event. Too late to return it at that point, I was gonna just get rid of it, but researched battery upgrades and, since other people also had this issue, with the help of YouTube I cracked mine open. There's only two measly 2600mAh 18650 sized battery cells inside! That's RIDICULOUS for a speaker this size and a product costing this much! The 21700 sized cell in my little flashlight has that much juice. It's amazing it made it an hour. So, I de-soldered their internal battery pack and dremelled a wire outside the box so I can use swappable external battery packs (each with four 3500mAh cells). So, yeah, I've had to go to great lengths to rescue this thing from being a paperweight (which most people won't do), and I've lost all trust for the JBL brand. 5200mAh. The NERVE of them to cheap out like that. I wouldn't buy any of their speakers again after this.

J'ai acheter cette appareille pour la maison, mais, la hauteur parfaite ce trouve entre deux niveau de volume... Trop fort pour la maison, mais, avec une utilisation de inférieur a 25% de volume et sans lumière nous pouvont atteindre 12H de autonomie... Excellente appareil pour la plage lors du bronzage annuel.

Did my reviews prior to purchase and this is one really premium, portable, Bluetooth speaker everyone will enjoy!!! It's well built, sounds spectacular with deep, rumbling bass and you wouldn't even think it looking at it. Hosted my xmas celebration with this speaker and it was a hit! I recommend!!! Want to buy another for a whole other experience I hear!!

My son and i were both sceptical , we have speakers that are much bigger in size and on paper much more capable. We got this lil guy because I was done with extension cords in the back yard. I wasn’t able to close my mouth for at least the first hour. This guy delivers full sound with low frequency like speakers that are double the size and cost twice as much. We will be buying one more for sure as they can be paired.

I seriously considered getting the 110 partybox instead but after the size vs sounds ratio i could not deny how good it sounds. I could not be happier. The EQ on the app. Fills in all gaps on this speaker. Such a good purchase.
