I'm sure headphones are a personal thing. Beats just aren't my thing. I listen to music where clarity is important. I find these Beats so muddy. Yeah there's bass if you're looking for that. But I'd have to EQ every time I'm listening to try and eek out some mids and highs that are clear. I much prefer the Bose I got. In terms of comfort, the Beats are decent enough. I find them heavy though, and quite stiff, which for travel isn't awesome. The ear pads get a big indent in them from the headband when they are folded down, which eventually lets out when you unfold them. Connections and bluetooth and noise cancelling are all good. Pretty underwhelmed with the sound, don't like the feel. Should've taken more time to sort that out when purchasing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So happy I bought these. Immersive sound, great bass and very comfortable on the ears and under the headband. Well-built solid set. Simple to pair with any bluetooth device.

Pretty pretty headphones. Worth sale price (but maybe not full). Does experience feedback if close to modem. Comfy on ears, but makes them a bit hot over time.
