[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought the game was presented well and was cute. It was a little hard to follow at first and we didn't really get hooked. But it's easy to travel with and will take it on a trip and try this one again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tacocat was hard to understand at first but when you get into it, its very easy and fun to play. it really makes you start to think because the way you have been use to playing a card game this is kind of backward thinking you need to do. My grandson really loves to play it and he is 16 just a different fun game to play. we really love it and you need to give it a try.

Easy to pick up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I watched the video on the tacocat website on how to play, glad I did! Super easy to play but not equally as easy to master. It’s like a version of the classic card game war but with some actual strategy and not completely just chance. The box the game comes in is also the game board which I thought was super clever. I appreciate that the game is inherently short (10-15 minutes) and that even after you lose a few hands in a row you aren’t necessarily going to lose. Nice, compact, fun game to take along for some entertainment.

Fun in a small, convenient box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how this game comes in a small box which makes it easy to travel with because it can easily fit into a bag. It doesn't come with a whole lot of pieces but yet it is still a fun game to play. I think it's really neat how the box itself functions as the playing board. The instructions are easy to follow and I like that there are further instructions to make the game more challenging after getting used to the game play. Definitely recommend this games to anyone looking for a new game to play.

Taco Cat - Fun & Quick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kiddos and I really enjoyed this game! It’s a two player game so I played with each of the kids until they knew enough to ply together. It reminds me a little bit of when we would play “war” growing up. The object of the game is to have the lowest number card at the end of each turn. If you have the lowest number than taco cat moves closer to your side of the board (the board is actually the box which is cool). You place tiles as you go so if you lose the next turn but win after that it doesn’t take quite as long to move it back in your direction. During each turn you want to use your highest cards to take out your opponents cards while trying to keep your lowest numbers available. It took a minute for the kids to catch on but after a few games they got it, and it’s been a really fun family bonding game for us ever since. I would definitely recommend for family game nights as it’s a quick but fun game to play!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family of 10 took a vacation on a houseboat recently. Needless to say we needed more entertainment than swimming. I bought this game and we loved it. With 4 grandchildren from 7-13 we were definitely challenged and entertained.
