Great day to day Folding phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't used the Galaxy AI features yet. Day to day its a good phone. I use the larger display for work often as our internal sites are not mobile optimized.
Camera could be better. I had the S23 Ultra before so I was spoiled with 200mp. Battery life is good. I can pretty easily go 2 days without charging. Screens can always be brighter in full sun. All in all a good phone.

Could be the best, if not better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've come a long way with technology. The Z Fold 5 is proof of that. But the highlighted should be the Galaxy AI. You can add magic to your photos whether making creative profiles and adding a little fun to your photos.
From tiny phone to a full screen tablet. Watching videos and browsing the web makes a world of a difference.
The Z Fold is such an experience. I can't wait to see what else I can learn as I continue to use this phone.

Quality Luxury Device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High performance device with consistent high quality multitasking capacity. Screen size and multitab tools allow for simultaneous streaming, gaming, and note taking without straining eyes. Games that utilitize more resources may be played on the device with minimal to no affect on device performance while multitasking and while the games' graphics settings are at maximum.
The device is durable and resists cracks and scratches from day to day use without a case. The design of the hinge in the Z Fold 5 results both screens being parallel to eachother and removing the gap in between screens at the fold as seen in precious models Z Fold. When folded, the device is thin and it is not heavy when held.
The device has the capability of a laptop and the portability of a mobile device, it can be opened to become a tablet, and closed appear similar to an S24. It has the components to provide the user with a reliable hardware and software performance.
AI photo tools are helpful when editing photos and circle to search is used frequently to search and identify products or other items using images. Galaxy AI is an enhancement to the features of the Z Fold 5.
Overall, the Z Fold 5 is a consistent and high quality luxury phone that can do the same or more as a high performance laptop and non-foldable mobile device combined.

Novelty wear quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the phone is okay. Has decent performance, good quality screen, good sound, nice response, decent photos.
The fold part has a niche application focused primarily on gaming. Wanted it for more business application but found the S23 Ultra better suited to business tasking. I also found the performance on the S23 Ultra faster and easier to hold with most games.
The larger folding screen does a great job at hiding the crease when it's open and lit, does a good job at blending...but I do hope it gets better in the future. There is some subtlety to the area that can be improved in future generations.
Not too happy with how fat the phone is, sticks out in the pocket. Found a belt holder is better to keep it from digging into the hip.
The price for the phone doesn't meet the provided perks. You pay a significant premium for the folding novelty that somehow represents more of a status (or debt) indicator.

Love the concept and application

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The two elongated screens is OK, however I would prefer a more square shape so when it was folded out it would be closer to a 16:9 ratio for watching movies in the "default" position as some applications won't rotate during video watching.
The availability of using a pen is a MUST for me as I do sometimes miss the tactile sensation of writing. I think the pen feature is what has brought me back to Samsung ever since the Note2
The one lost star is a SIGNIFICANT one: the over heating when closed and riding in a car if it has a case on. Now, don't get me wrong, I think the issue is industry wide in lack of planning for cases in the over heating element. However, it really is the only downfall I find, but sadly, in Texas, I find that every drive between June and October I get alerts of over heating.
It is hot down here people, and folding phones ESPECIALLY seem to feel it. So if you can try to emulate this and/or create a standard of rating for phone cases that are "protecting but allow for optimal functioning" that would be ideal.
I haven't embraced Galaxy AI as of yet, but that's mostly because I feel confident in my communication style and self research.

Great Phone but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been half a year since I purchased my Z Fold 5 and it has been a wonderful experience. My only gripe is the cover screen... When I first purchased it, the screen was easily scratched by my keys. It wasn't on purpose I forgot my keys were in the same pocket as my phone. Otherwise, the phone has performed very well. I love it's features including the main big screen. Battery could be better as well but it's okay overall. Also, Galaxy AI is hands down one of the best features I've had on this phone. Using search without going to the home screen is amazing 9/10!!!!
