My thoughts on the galaxy fold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I first got it from my father it's works really well able to use big screen to small screen just by folding which make it interesting. Able to watch videos and movie with a big screen, and texts to see more clearly too.

Awesome upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the fold4 and upgraded to the fold5 and I love the feel and processing speed! The fold4 felt a bit bulkier and this one just feels sleek in my hands. I love it and I will never go back to a non-foldable phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Fold! It allows me to get work done on the run, from email to the office suite. I love the multiple window function when I need to refer back to something while working. When work is all done though I get to use it for fun! I love to use it as a reader, play my mobile games, or watch videos. Additionally, with samsung kids mode I can hand it over to my kiddos and keep them entertained on the go.

Never going back to traditional phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Changed from a S24 Ultra to a Fold 5. The difference it made to my productivity is amazing. Each app has a preferred screen size. For example, a phone call needs a small screen and youtube a large screen.
On rhe ultra I was stuck with a large screen all the time. So hard to make calls and not large enough for notes.

This phone is the perfect phone. All apps can now be used as they were meant to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good things, first. The entire idea of phone becoming tablet is great. I've been a huge fan of it form the beginning. Having narrow phone easily manageable with one hand while folded, and a small tablet for web activities, movies, games, and multitasking while unfolded is great.
Having the great UI and personal customization experience is a big deal yo me. So, far no connection, reception, or slow down problems affected me. Galaxy AI is a hit and miss. I guess, I have to grow on it and it will be helpful at some point. Overall a great device.
Now, not so great things. The device is thick and quite heavy. I had z fold 2 and z fold 4 before. Both of them developed significant problems after about a year or year and a half of use. Z fold 2 periodically didn't charge. Z fold 4 had multiple other issues. Its hinge broke, wifi, Bluetooth and I think NFC connection also broke. I ended up being able to use it only folded and only on mobile network.
Hence the title of my review - So far so good. Basically, I think at this price point this devices should have much better quality control.
So, I'm hesitant to recommend the fold series phones to others, despite liking the design and functionality.

Everything I need in one device.

I had my doubts when I first purchased the device, but once I settled into it I quickly realized that I no longer needed to carry a tablet for streaming content.
I use my Z fold 5 non stop all day for everything like navigatiion to podcast and just playing some tunes while at work.
The camera is amazing and capturing videos is easy as pie with a simple double click on the buttons.
Battery life is ridiculous. The phone will last me a day and half easily with non stop usage.
I would recommend a Samsung device to anyone looking to upgrade and can't wait for my Z fold 5 to get an update so I can get the full AI experience baked into the OS.
