Bad cracking from opening and closing over time

I've had this for about 8 months now and the phone was great. Loved the big screen and small screen when folded. The problem now is that the phone has small cracks straight down the middle from I assume constant open and closing. Obviously this is an issue that they haven't solved because I've seen others like it and it gets even worse over time. I would not have bought this phone if I knee this could happen. Until the fix this issue the phone is not worth it. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! THE SCREEN WILL CRACK OVER TIME.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using my Galaxy Fold, the exta screen makes using it an experience you don't get with regular phones. I just wish it came with an integrated S pen to completely make this product top tier. The case holding the S pen is just not enough. In my opinion it should also use the latest camera technology for a product in this price range.

Such a cool phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose Fold over Flip due to its utility. The pen did not come with the phone, but even without, you can still review documents, eSign, and most capabilities you can do on a laptop. Because of the wide screen when opened, you can easily multi-task by placing two apps next to one another.
Typing might feel awkward at first because the dimensions are narrower and very wide like holding a small tablet when unfolded. Once you do get used to the dimensions of ZFold, it does feel like having one of those 90s anime compact computers. Just fold it half way and orient the keyboard like using a laptop. The phone is literally flexible.
ZFold is great if you read eBooks or articles on phone a lot. Camera quality is great for taking pictures and videos for social media. The phone isn't too bulky for your pockets. Even without a protective case, the phone is quite sturdy. However, this is a costly phone, and folding types are uncommon, which might be at risk for theft (reasonable assumption).
Generative wallpaper from Galaxy AI has been fun to use. I'm not used to AI images, but not bad. I find some combos funny. You can set two different types of wallpapers/lock screen when folded and unfolded. I often set a pic of a reminder as wallpaper of folded screen. I find that useful to remember what I have to do that day without losing a pretty wallpaper (as it's on the other side).
Overall, ZFold has been great and I continue to find cool ways the phone can be used day by day.

This is the Best Ever

I am visually impaired and it was getting hard for me to see who is calling or texting, who was sending emails and so on. I get full screen view of everything. I can make them a bit bigger if needed. I am missing areas in my view and I just move the phone slightly and I see everything. This is a true blessing for me. I love it so much I told my family and my daughter and her husband both bought one.

Two devices in one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start off by saying how the Fold 5 feels more refined and perfect in the hand compared to last year's iteration. The smaller hinge and no gap between screens, the brighter inner and outer screens(huge plus outside), the cameras finally seem flagship worthy and finally I can't say enough about the massive inner screen. Being able to use the device one handed when closed then opening it up and consuming content is like having two devices in one. I can't go back to a regular candy bar style phone after using a fold. The hinge feels a lot smoother, quieter when closing the phone. It was designed for multitasking in mind and it shows, having multiple apps open, viewing videos while writing an email, watching movies while shopping for a loved one, there's no better feeling.
