Platform 9 3/4 think you're being funny do you?

I loved building this! I know a lot of people have issues with having stickers but i like that it gives me another step to do. I think it adds something to the build experience. I used a pair of tweezers to make sure they were centered and had no problems with it! It took me most of the night to finish but it was still relatively easy to do. I like the mini figures it came with and the fact that you even get the trolley witch is great. I wish there was more to do as I didn't want to stop! Overall a great set and I'd recommend to anyone!

Lego Hogwarts Express

I got this set from my grandparents for my birthday. I had just finished the harry potter book series and was starting on the movies. this is a great set in many ways. the locomotive has a locking front truck that can be unlocked for use on tracks. in the cab section there is a generous amount of detailing, including dials, a firebox, and some pipes. the tender is short, but it does the job nicely. the passenger car is kind of plain on the side, but it isn't too bad. the wall comes off to put figures in it. I was able to fit all the figures except the dementor. I do wish there was more than one though. the "real" Hogwarts Express had something like six or seven. it would have been nice to have at least two. the station is great, and much larger than I would expect. the wall function for platform 9 3/4 is great, and i'm glad that they used the same color of pin as the wall. i wish that they would do another print for the wizard newspaper. after I finished the set, I immediately started trying to power it using the powered up system. I only modified the tender to hold all the components. I also built two extra passenger carriages to go with the one included. In addition, I put turning trucks on the included carriages to reduce drag going around turns. on the box, i noticed the lights on the train look like they actually light up, when in reality, extreme modification is needed to make them work. in my opinion, that should not be a thing. There are also no tracks, which is kind of unfortunate. Overall, this is a great set with lots of potential for harry potter fans and train fans alike. P.S. Sorry about the quality of the pictures below.

Hogwarts dream

This is a super realistic and vivid model of Hogwarts Express! The steps described in the procedure book are nearly 3D, which is so clear and easy to understand. In general, I will recommend this for everyone who loves Harry Potter!

Beautiful set

Loved building the detailed platform first, really got me excited to make the train to go with it! The only issue I have is not all the legos people have bendy legs so only Professor Lupin can sit in the trolley seats. Besides that, I’m obsessed with the details!

I bought this train for my son and myself. He likes it very much. Now we are about to add powder function to it. The train station is interesting too, the only problem is that the train station is a little low for other train (like 60052 train engine) to pass, need to add one layer of brick to lift it.

Another lovely set and bigger than I thought. This was built by my 13 yr old son and He said it was quite easy to build (he is more used to 16+ sets) and is easy to play with.

Totally worth it!

I have a very hard time finding sets that are challenging while getting the bang for your buck. This is an amazing set that gave me a challenge while having such playability aspects that I as a collector is really fond of. I loved this set and think its totally worth the money. I just started building last year and finding sets that are fun but not too small as well as possibly more expensive and challenging are quite difficult but this was perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!
