A favorite for all seasons and reasons

First the square shape of this container is ideal for most items that I seek to keep cold. Its square shape provides maximum utilization of space and is very stackable. It's sealing ability for my many months of using has maintained it's integrity, despite multiple cycles. It is durable, in as much as I have not experienced cracking. It does not appear to absorb foodstuff, causing color changes. I have yet to use it for frozen produce, however, will start to explore that area. Currently, I vacuum pack long term storage items to expel air. These containers I am considering using for short term frozen food storage in which I will only utilize a portion of the container's content at the time. The content of the container is clearly visible on all sides of the container. Based upon my many, many years of experience of using Sterilite containers I expect these new products to be used by me for many years to come. I have also found them useful for dry, unrefrigerated storage aboard my sailboat, for snacks, spices, first aid, and other items to be protected from the salty, humid conditions.

Great container for kids lunches!

This is a great sandwich container for kids lunches. We a have 3 kids and 6 of these containers. They wash up great in the dishwasher too! Recommend them to anyone who packs lunches for school or work.

the ultra seal successfully keeps out the air , which is damaging to food. this is well made and easy to use.

This is the perfect size for your lunch/dinner, throw in your bag as you leave for work, school, or wherever you are headed for the day and not worry about it leaking. We have several just so everyone in my family has no excuses as to why they can't take leftovers for lunch and warm up at school/work. Plus, no more smashed sandwiches as this container is the perfect size and sturdy!

We have a set of these in multiple sizes. They have worked wonderfully and have typically been my go to storage choice. However, the flaps on the lids have begun to break off. We've had them for about 3 years now....and they've been used fairly regularly. I inquired about ordering replacement lids as one of the primary reasons I use this type of food storage containers is to avoid consuming and throwing away plastic...however, I was told they do not sell replacement lids. I think that's a huge mistake on their part. The design of the lids almost guarantees they will break one day and it makes total sense to provide replacements....disappointing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

perfect for lunches!

My son has cerebral palsy and needed something that would be easy to open for his lunch sandwiches. These have been perfect! We have been using them nearly every day for several years and they are still holding up fine. I purchased similar ones made by Snap-Tite and they did "snap", into pieces and had to be thrown out. Now I will only buy Sterilite. I have all different sizes of these and use them for everything.
I would recommend this to a friend!
