Not what I expected from a flagship phone

After using this phone for several weeks, I'm disappointed in the performance of this phone. It gets really hot being on 5g and even when I turn it off after using it for a while it'll warm up and won't cool off until I stop using it (usually just watching videos). I was unsure of buying it due to the snapdragon 8 gen 1 chip having issues with how hot it gets. And I should've listened to the reviews, it seems like the chip is a hot mess and the cooling system in the phone isn't enough. I'm still willing to give this phone a chance as apps began to be optimized but this is quite disappointing. And the battery, it lasts about 5 hours with moderate use and that's almost as bad as my samsung s8. So I think it's better to wait for a better chip and/or cooling system. Other than that the phone isn't too bad, but the heating problem is what bothers me the most.

Great all around phone!

I don't understand all the hate this phone's getting. I have the standard S22 and it's easily my favorite all around phone. There's nothing mind blowing, but everything is great quality and just works th with way it should. The new size is perfect, the battery life gets me to the end of the day with 30% left easily on moderate usage throughout the day, and the cameras are great! Definitely the most well-rounded phone available now!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased Galaxy S22 because my beloved Galaxy 8 started acting funky. Even though it was starting to act up, it still worked better than the Brand New S22. Sooo wish I still had the Samsung 8. I really feel that the pop-ups, presumptuous advertising, and unwanted mind-numbing games that are constantly thrown onto the S22 - without consent - are obtrusive and interfering when I want to text or make a call.

I bought this almost 6-7 months now and honestly I've had so many issues with it. Like no one hearing me when I answer the phone. And it's charging capabilities are crappy unless it's plugged into a wall outlet and it over heats when I have more then one big app open. it constantly crashes out of the apps I'm using and runs slow as a turtle 🐢 lol don't recommend I would say that the plus or ultra edition. I preferred my s9 over this one.

Battery is really bad

I come from an S9 and battery life is not better from a 4 years old device. Is it really more efficient?

Ideal buttons (power/voleme) configuration were on my previous S10e. Now power buttons and volume on 1 side make screenshots complicated. Power button in center of phone makes it unoperable while in car holder. Dumb development from good to wrong

Nice except for the battery

This phone is a very nice phone but the battery life is pretty bad. Probably would have saved some money and gone with the S21 if I knew exactly how bad the battery life was.

This was supposed to be an upgrade from my S9. It's hard to believe the pixel density and screen quality was better in my 3 year old phone, but I noticed immediately that the S22 was a downgrade. It could be better if the display controls were able to be customized further by the user. Battery life is also a downgrade, but I knew that when purchasing. No charging block/cord was provided. I am a dedicated Samsung consumer looking for consistent quality and innovative enhancements when I upgrade. Maybe current tech has simply reached its physical limits.
