Battery consuming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The features on the phone are good and the camera improves when you compare it to the previous modes, it is lighter and more compact which makes it easier to fit in pocket or other places. The one thing that is a major con about this phone is how much the battery drains. I Can literally have my phone on battery saving mode to not have any apps working in the background and amongst other ways to decrease battery use and regardless of the changed the battery will last a few hours without it being in use. If the phone is used at any point, then the battery lasts no more than an hour.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointed in new S22

I purchased the new S22 and gave up my S8 active and I am now very disappointed.
The first thing I noticed was No MicroSD
slot, I take a lot of pictures and videos, this is unacceptable. The next day I realized there was No headphone jack, again this is unacceptable for us that like using headphones rather than ear buds and the final nail in the coffin they didn't even include a charger in the box. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I have had Samsung Galaxy phones since the beginning.

Coming from an iphone

Best decision I've ever made! I love this phones weight and form factor. the iphone is nice and more premium feeling BUT with that comes heft. This galaxy s22 is light and feels good in the hand. Great camera, crisp display, and blazing fast! Oh and don't believe any of the bad battery comments. This phone lasts me all day and I'm a pretty heavy user at the end of my day I had about 57% left (screenshot below) just enough to watch some FREE samsung TV In bed!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Regrets

I have had this for about three weeks. I regret purchasing it. It constantly drops calls in spots that my old Samsung S9 never dropped calls in. I have to restart it multiple times a day in order to receive text messages. The internet is slow on it even when I am connected to my fast wifi. I can't get Hulu to play on it without buffering. I never had any of these problems with my S9. I wish I hadn't traded in my S9. Even with a cracked screen, it was waaaay better. The only thing I like about this phone is the purple color.

Quite Happy with this phone

I have had the phone for a month now and I am very happy with it. After reading the negative reviews about the battery life and overheating problems I did delete and disable features and apps that I would not use right off the bat. So far we have not had any issues with either the battery or overheating. The camera is amazing and the features to work with the images are great fun

I thought I was getting n upgrade for my Note 10+. It was evident that was not the case. The only things that are "upgrades " are: the camera system. Although to the average user the upgrades are negotiable. The other upgrade is the moved the buttons on the right side which makes it easier for a right handed person. It is identical in size to the note 10+. I was hoping for a little bigger screen. The brand new battery lasts just as long as my 2.5 year old note, I was very disappointed that the battery performance was not better. I don't game or stream a lot on it and the battery isn't that great. As an average user there is nothing new or noteworthy that stands out from the not 10+. They also took away the expandable memory slot. The other thing is, you pay so much money for a phone and they can't even supply a cord and wall charger? I hope this helps people make a better choice.

Continuing what we started with the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, earphones and a charger plug are no longer included in the box because Samsung wants to minimize the impact our products have on the environment. Existing Galaxy users are encouraged to continue using their current earphones and charging plug, while new users will need to purchase this separately.
