I LOVE all of the Samsung phones I have ever used. I have had many but held onto my S10+ for longer than normal. Upgrading to the S22 almost felt like a step back. Very poor battery life thus far (I am told it will learn my usage and become slightly better) and not much new to offer. Learning the new button position was simple and the build quality is still great, but the S22 just seems very basic. I wanted to spring for the Ultra and probably should have but was limited to options since this line is provided by my employer. All in all this phone is still a Samsung and is far superior to its competitors but is still missing some things that could be improved. The battery is really really bad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the phone, the color I got is pink and is beautiful. The pictures are great. The only downside is the battery life.

Not as user friendly as my Galaxy 10+ was. No longer can plug earphones, must get wireless to listen to music. Also had to buy new charger.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad battery life

Bought s22 2 mos. Ago. I like everything except the battery. Had to charge 2-3x a day. Unlike my old a71 only have to charge once every 2 days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really enjoy this phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After not having an Android phone for a while I decided to get this on a trade in deal with Google Fi and I really enjoy it! The under display fingerprint scanner and always on display are my two favorite features. But I also love the edge panels and the camera are good too. I knocked off 1 start because battery life has been rather disappointing to be honest. Only really get around 5-6 hours of screen on time. Other than that this phone is great and I would recommend outside of the battery issues.

Pretty decent phone with somewhat low battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Galaxy S22 day one to replace my Galaxy S8 for Web AR development. It was a good improvement over the now 5 year old phone (time flies). I find the 120hz refresh rate very nice to look at, but the max resolution is actually capped at 1080p. This hasn't been an issue for me though, since phone sizes are much smaller than PC screens. The new touchscreen fingerprint reader works really nicely and is much more convenient than the awkward one on the back of the S8. However, I've had issues with it overheating lately, even when I wasn't doing Web AR stuff. It simply closes out several apps if this happens. Its battery is also 3,700 mAh, which at least for my uses with video, 3D rendering, etc., it always seems to run out pretty fast. My wife also seems to not really like the camera either.
Pros: Simple to upgrade from other Samsung phones, decently powerful, nice screen refresh rate, simple and solid design
Cons: Battery life is kind of bad, may overheat, camera is so-so
I would recommend this to a friend!
