Great camera

I bought my s22 about a month ago. It seems to be a good phone however I had an A71 prior and I don't like the s22 any more than I did the A71. It does have an excellent camera but nothing too special other than that in my opinion .

You have to hold 2 buttons down at the same time to turn off the phone. Battery life sucks.
I am stuck with this phone for the next 2 years.

You can customize the shortcuts assigned to the Side key.

Double press
Choose which feature is launched when the Side key is pressed twice.
1. From Settings, tap Advanced features > Side key.
2. Tap Double press to enable this feature, and tap an option:
-Quick launch camera (default)
-Open app

Press and hold
Choose which feature is launched when you press and hold the Side key.
1. From Settings, tap Advanced features > Side key.
2. Under the Press and hold heading, tap an option:
-Wake Bixby (default)
-Power off menu

Battery life stinks

The battery life on these isn't good. Everything seems to be ok. No where to put a SD card that I seen so whatever gigabyte you order is what you g etc. Also not able you mobile hotspot.

OK if you need 5G

It's an OK phone I guess. Don't find it nearly as user friendly as my old Motorola phone. Doesn't seem to work with a screen protector, won't register your fingerprint, so that's annoying. Of course it doesn't come with any user guide but found one on-line. New "fast charger" cable isn't compatible with standard USB so I needed to buy a new charger. Wanted 5G which my old phone didn't have, got talked into getting this phone. In hindsight, I should have passed.

Continuing what we started with the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, earphones and a charger plug are no longer included in the box because Samsung wants to minimize the impact our products have on the environment. Samsung believes the removal of earphones and charger plugs from our in-box device packaging can help address the growing e-waste problem and unnecessary duplication of these items. Existing Galaxy users are encouraged to continue using their current earphones and charging plug, while new users will need to purchase this separately. Concerning the touch screen, try to increase the touch sensitivity by going into Settings>tap Display > Touch sensitivity to enable. I’m glad you located the user manual on line, and there is also a way to view it on your actual device. Navigate to Settings, then swipe to and tap Tips and Help or Tips and user manual, and then tap User manual. The user manual will open via your internet browser.
