I have been usiing a Pixel Watch 2, but I read good things about Amazfit so I took the plunge and bought the Active 2 Premium. I wear it for a few days then go to put the Pixel back on, but end up keeping the Active 2 on. Why? A beautiful vibrant screen, snappy performance, good light fitness and sleep tracking, and excellent GPS and battery life. It is lacking some things the Pixel has succh as wifi, ekg and fall notification, but I'm doing fine without them for now. 2 weeks in and I'm really liking it.

Great Upgrade

I have been very happy with the gps for walks and runs. The sleep tracking has been great. Though there is very little storage, there is enough for about half an hour of music. I can grab my bluetooth ear buds and go for a run without my phone. That’s something not mentioned on the site or in comments.

I really like that this watch is focused on my health and fitness. I don't need a watch to do all the things my phone does (better.) I am still learning how to optimize it for myself, but it was easy to get started.

The UI is awful and everything is way harder than it should be. The watch functions slightly better on my android than my iphone but not enough to keep it. It has potential but can’t compete with the easy use of an apple watch or galaxy watch.

Good for the price

This a good watch for me it's my first smart watch! For the price I like it so far
Only thing if you buy it. You will have spend maybe 2 hours just sitting with your phone and watch to make sure everything works. It was a bit a pain the butt to make sure apps, phone and watch are talking to each other.
Maybe it's easier for people that have had a smart watch before.
