Is there actually any such thing as a bed that sleeps cool?

I watched a lot of reviews before trying Ghostbed Luxe. They all talked about how cool the mattress feels and how it almost feels wet, and that it would be great for hot sleepers. Blah blah. If honest reviews existed then it would surely save these companies a lot in unnecessary returns. Yes, the mattress initially feels cool. But give it a few hours and things heat up.
The area under the hips starts to feel like laying on a heating pad. Fine for winter. Horrible for summer. I've since been told that if a mattress is memory foam it will sleep hot. I guess it's best to not have memory foam for me. Maybe a hybrid would be okay.

Purchased this bed courtesy of DrinkinBros podcast, was not disappointed. Took a pretty big leap of faith purchasing a bed that we couldn’t physically test beforehand, but it’s safe to know those fears were put to rest. Pun intended. Great bed, great company.

This was my first purchase from the company after hearing about them on Drinkin Bros podcast for so long and the wife and I were due for a new mattress and I figured why not give it a shot. I have slept very well on the mattress and it is making sleep a lot better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Its been almost 2 weeks and so far so good! Iy used to be just me in my bed, with my new Ghostbed, its so comfortable, it's me, both my kids, the dog and the cat sleeping on my bed !! The only complaint I have is I wish they all didnt take up so much room!!

I love this bed in wanted one ever since they sponsored drinkin bros but can afford one and I absolutely love it my wife even went and bought the protector and sheets.

We’re keeping it but....

Beware- The first two weeks on this mattress are real rough. It was like sleeping on cement. It’s now been about a month and a half and it It has softened a little- But I would still consider this pretty firm. It is definitely not at a 6 like they said- I’d give it an 8.5/10. My husband and I both wake up sore.
So why are we even keeping it? Well- for some reason I SLEEP SO HARD on this thing. I had had months of waking up 4-5 times a night and sleeping so hot and sweaty and for whatever reason I sleep solidly and cool the whole 8 hours on this thing! To me that’s worth it.
So if you’re looking for a plush comfy soft mattress this ain’t it. But if you want to be rested in the morning - go for this one!

I love this bed! It is softer than I expected, but that is a good thing. Just enough give to cradle you and so comfortable for a side sleeper. The best aspect is the coolness. I am always hot and this bed has been snuggling under a blanket for the first time. I love it!
