I love our Ghost bed!! It is so soft and comfortable. My husband even commented on how good he sleeps now. I love that it is light weight too. I can turn, flip, or push it anyway I want. This mattress is well worth what we paid for it!

Overall I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of this bed. In terms of overall comfort, I have not had a bad nights sleep yet. There is the perfect balance between softness and firmness in the mattress. Additionally, it was a pleasant surprise that the cooling system built into the bed really does work. You can actually feel how the bed is cool to the touch and remains so even throughout the night. This is something that I did not expect as I have bought cooling pillows in the past that did not live up to the promise. Finally, the GhostBed mattress is a good break on the traditional spring mattress. On the whole, I am very surprised as GhostBed offers a fantastic mattress at a lower price then many of their competitors.

Mixed feelings

Pros - sleeps cool, fast shipping
Cons - very firm, had to purchase a 2" memory foam topper which has relieved that. Also disappointed that several rows of threads were gone from the pattern on the top which disrupted the diamond pattern, although now with the topper a mute point. Hoping that the cooling topper I bought will continue to work well with the cooling layers on the bed. So far seems to be.

Too firm and causes shoulder pain

The ghostbed luxe is great temperature wise. It felt nice and cool but this is partially due to my percale sheets, use the wrong sheets and you will be sweating. Initially it felt way too firm. So I walked on it for about 10 minutes and it started feeling better. BUT I noticed every morning I was waking up with shoulder/back pain. This seemed to start getting worse so I rotated the mattress. After rotating it felt too firm again and the pain reduced but did not disappear completely... so it is not as supportive as it needs to be and it's advertised as medium plush like you're sleeping on a cloud... well I didn't feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud... I guess I'm not heavy enough to sink in deep enough. 30 days in and it should be getting more comfortable not less comfortable :(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
