Has a strong lavender scent and isn't soft enough for me

When the pillows arrived I noticed a pretty strong smell. I couldn't place the smell at first but the company says it's a lavender scent. It was too strong for me. I washed the outer cover and let the pillows air out for a good week. I am the type of person who is sensitive to odors so it bothered me more than it did my fiancé. He likes his pillow and it's the only one he uses. He likes a firm pillow and isn't sensitive to smells. I was really disappointed as I was so excited to have my new pillow. It's been about a month now and I have 4 pillow cases on the pillow and I use it as a support pillow underneath my softer pillow. I really wish Ghost didn't use a scent on something people are going to put their head directly on. If you are sensitive to odors/perfumes this pillow won't work for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've tried several different pillows over the last few years and couldn't find one that was the right height and comfort for me. I bought the Ghostbed and liked that, so decided to try the Ghostpillow. I love it! The right height for me, cool and very comfortable. In fact I'm buying another one.

I have been buying different pillow for years an have not been able to find one that doesn't make my neck hurt. When I saw the GhostPillow advertised I thought why not give it a try. This is a very comfortable pillow and the way it helps keep your head from getting too hot is awesome! I would highly recommend this pillow

Nice quality, but to soft for me. Feel like it collapses under my head. I use two, and still feels like it bottoms out.

Best Pillow Ever!

I've used a few different pillows over the years. Most recently, and for several years, I used a water pillow. I loved it. Though, at times, it seemed too firm, I had no issues its weight or comfort level. However, for a couple reasons, it was time for a new pillow. We've been on a Ghostbed mattress since January, 2016 and we love it. It's one of the best mattresses we've ever used. So, it made sense to get a GhostPillow. I'm so glad we did! The pillow is the perfect size and weight. It's not too firm or too soft. It's a little slow to regain its form but, I suppose there is a slight restriction on airflow because I put a zippered pillow protector on it to keep my greasy head from ruining it.
I also have had issues with neck and back pain. Before the Ghostbed mattress, I frequently woke up with both shoulder, neck, and back pain. Before the new GhostPillow, I would occasionally wake in the morning with neck pain or wake up in the middle of the night sweating through the pillow case. Since I've been using the GhostPillow, I haven't had any issues with neck pain and it cools very well.
