difficult setup - won't connect to 5G

Objectively, I can review this product after spending hours trying to get it to work. It's totally confusing showing the 5G light on the extender on sometimes, and off others. The extender tells me (through its IP address) that it can't connect to my 5G network. It also changes the name of the extended network at will and makes the whole thing even more confusing. I've tried plugging an ethernet cable into it directly from my desktop but after a speedtest.net test, it showed a very slow connection. I'm less than 3m from the router. One of the worst products I've bought and I've owned many electronics over the years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tried many products over the years but this one really works and extends the wifi to every corner in the upper floor of the house. Easy to setup and control is easy from the app.
