Waste of money

First 2-3 months was good then do nothing, bad coverage and disconnect, it’s a waste of money and time to restart it every day

Good at First Setup - Tough to Relocate

I set it up at home to take up to a nursing home for my mother.
The first setup, at home, was ok. Quite easy. The unit is compact and well made.
When I got to the care center I struggled a long time to set up for the new network.
And no instruction to be found. Even on reaching out to TP-Link there AI assisted advice did not work; even after a second go around with them.
I had to do some of what they suggested and use my own ideas to get a new clean working set up. POOR!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Average Wifi Extender

OK device for the price. Setup was easy. Works well as range extender (catching main routers wifi). Using the Access Point mode in basement location (Ethernet backhaul). Realized that ethernet port is limited to 10/100Mbps which is disappointing. Can't use the full potential of my ISP speed, ethernet speed or 5G signal broadcasted based on the 100Mbps location. Would have been a great device if ethernet port would support 1Gbps.

For the price point of this item, the boost was exactly what we needed. Set up was easy and it was up and running in 5 minutes.
