Strong suction and lovely design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really love tbe strong suction and ability to pull up any and all dirt from our carpets. We have a dog, and my children and I have long hair that sheds everywhere. This vacuum sucks it all up with ease. It's adjustable to the carpet height, swivels and maneuvers seamlessly around corners, and has strong suction. It has the hose and brush attachments as well for getting deep into places you can't easily clean. It also has an easy to remove, bagless container for debris. The cord seems longer than any other vacuum I've owned, fabulously for cleaning larger rooms. The only small issue is that it has a whistling sound when on and vacuuming.my ears are very sensitive, so it may just be me that hears it, but it is very slight when on. Also, it's a bit heavier than other vacuums that I've owned. All in all, I would recommend and really do like this Hoover vacuum.

We vacuum our carpet in our bedroom regularly so I didn't expect to pick up too much the first time I used it but I was wrong. I did a small area and the amount of dust in the vacuum was crazy. Hopefully, this helps keep the room cleaner and means I will have to vacuum less. It is a solid vacuum and is in the heavy side but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I just don't think I'd use it too often on stairs. My only complaint is that emptying the canister is complicated. You're supposed to open the bottom to empty it into the trash but not everything falls out easily. I ended up also having to open the top and that got kind of messy. That's easy to overlook since it performs so well.

I like that I can use it on carpet and tile floors. The vacuum is very sturdy and durable. It has great power and comes with a long cord. I can move around the house with no problem. I don't have to worry about not reaching. It's easy to use and simple to clean the filter. I would buy this vacuum. I will recommend this vacuum to my friends and family. The Stormtrooper of Vacuum's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, once I put the 3 pieces together my 5 year old boy said it looked like a stormtrooper. So, he approves without even turning it on. Once I did turn it on, I was impressed with the suction power and brush head density. It seems to clean as well as my Bissell deep carpet cleaner and better than my very expensive Rainbow (the Rainbow has a flimsy brush that does not get deep into the carpet). The adjustable height makes it easy to switch between deep pile carpet, low carpet, and bare floors ensuring that you don't tear the area rugs or damage the carpet or brush head. I did use the wrong setting at first on the deep pile carpet and I could smell the belt burning from the motor spinning faster than the brush head. It would be nice to be able to auto disengage the brush head when the setting is on bare floors or in the upright position. it has a few onboard attachments which are nice to clean the blinds and filters on the air purifiers. The vacuum is easy to move and change directions with the swivel head. I like the big the canister and how easy it is to remove and empty. The canister holds a lot, which makes it to where I can vacuum the house without having to make several trips to the trash can. You do have to get your hands dirty to get the canister completely clean. This may be because we have 3 cats and a dog that shed everywhere. The hairs stick in the filter. Now the cons... A headlight would be nice because I found I was sucking up little Lego pieces and did not even know it until I emptied the container. I just didn't see them. Also, the power cord is at the bottom of the vacuum and I get it tangled around my feet and sometimes it gets rolled up in the wheels. Overall, I am very pleased with this vacuum and it has become my go to for the entire house or just when I need to hit the high traffic areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hoover Elite Swivel Upright is a fantastic ally in your battle of dust and dirt. First thing I noticed when removing it from the box is that it is extremely light, but still feels very solid. Set up literally took less time than getting the box in the house and opened, which is always a plus. The head swivels easily to maneuver around furniture (and curious pets!) and it moves nearly effortlessly across our tile and wood floors. The suction is pretty good, it grabbed nearly everything we normally to sweep up. The only issues we had with suction was on larger pebbles that were more than your typical sized debris tracked in from inside. Clean up was a breeze! Overall a great value vacuum cleaner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic vacuum cleaner! It makes it so much easier to clean my stairs and other hard to reach places. I don't have to lug the entire vacuum cleaner from step to step. Instead, I can just click off the lightweight canister and carry that with the suction hose. Vacuuming the stairs used to be back-breaking work, but now it's a breeze! The power of the suction is also top-notch. It sucks up everything! We have two dogs at home so we need to vacuum the hardwood floors and carpet often. This comes with extra attachments to reach the corners and hard-to-reach places. Highly recommended!
