[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It comes in 3 pieces so it is VERY easy to assemble out of the box. Extremely easy to switch to the attachment hose in just one click. Canister is also very easy to remove and empty with no mess. Lightweight for easy lifting upstairs. Great suction comparable to any other high dollar vacuum I've used. Wish the head would swivel with the vacuum but that about my only complaint. Solid vacuum. I would definitely recommend to friends or family.

The suction is very powerful, and most surfaces require only one pass. It excels at picking up dog hair! The filter results in virtually no dust, which is a big help for allergy sufferers. Navigation is a breeze, because it swivels and gets into the most awkward of spots. I love all the tools, and I especially love the edge to edge suction, which allows for cleaning close to the molding a breeze. We have tile, hardwood, and carpet, and all were cleaned equally well, and switching between carpet and hard surfaces was simple. I like a spotless home, and the Hoover Elite Swivel Upright Vacuum is supreme at helping me keep our home spotless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Multiple settings which I appreciate (low, medium, high carpet & hardwood). Power button is on the bottom so you can tap it on with your foot. (No need to lean over and have a free hand). It comes with a VERY long cord. I always had to plus my old one into an extension cord, but not with this one!!! Con: No Light. I miss the light shining on the floor to show me all the things I may have missed when I vacuum. Thats the ONLY downfall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first used the vacuum it sucked up so much stuff out of our carpet it was appalling. We previously owned a 6 year old Bissel. So I am upset the old vacuum left all that did that it did in our carpet. We are a busy family with a farm and a preschooler. So our floors get a lot of mud,dirt, and food tracked and dropped into them. Suction is great. I love how easy it is to swivel and it get into hard to reach places. The weight is very light which is great on my wrists and back. This is easily just as good or better than a Shark (which I use at work). We have had one complaint and that is when our daughter dropped a few random goldfish snacks on the floor, it really didn't grab them and suck them up, the vacuum rolled them around. Not a deal breaker though, I can use the suction hose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you've got multiple surfaces, the Hoover Elite Swivel is the way to go! It has many features and I'm very impressed. To start, it came well packaged and was easy to unbox. The unit includes a edge cleaning and upholstery cleaning attachments for use on the extended hose cleaner. The vacuum uses a bag-less design that is super easy to see when its full and very easy to empty. The beater brush bar does edge-to-edge coverage to get the corners of the floor without issue. For filters, it has a main hepa filter, and a pre filter. both are easily accessible and easy to clean. the pre filter is washable. Overall this vaccuum does a excellent job of getting our dogs hair up off the carpet as well as our hard flooring. I am very happy with with it and would choose this again in the future.

After having a Shark vacuum that I loved that stopped working, probably due to the amount of dog hair my dog sheds and the amount of crumbs my kids leave everywhere, I bought a cheap Bissell that cleans well enough. After trying this Hoover Elite Swivel Upright Vacuum I am obsessed. The dust cup is very large and holds a lot of hair and dirt. I was amazed at how much it picked up compared to my other vacuum. It has four different height adjustment options including bare floor which is always a plus because I have carpet and laminate flooring throughout my home. It is easy to push and almost walks itself so you don't have to push dead weight like some vacuums. I love the swivel design as opposed to just being able to go back and forth, it is so helpful for getting around furniture, dog beds, shoe racks, craft carts, etc. Another amazing feature is the extendable hose extension. No more bending over to use the hose! I am 5'6" and I can stand up straight without bending at all and the hose extension reaches the ground just fine. I also really appreciate the washable filter that is very durable, unlike anything I've seen on a vacuum. I can't say enough good this about this vacuum. If you are in the market for a new vacuum, buy this one, you won't be disappointed.
